I’m conducting a study on happiness and the music that is the key to happiness is
ABBA!
Seriously, does anyone here actually dislike ABBA? If you heard ‘Mamma Mia’ would you run away from the scene?

^ ABBA is happy stuff, that’s for sure. I would not run away if it was put on, although ‘Mamma Mia’ isn’t my favourite– I’d prefer ‘Super Trouper’.
But the results of an independent study I’m conducting seems to point toward the key to happiness being
Though admittedly, the only participants so far have been yours truly…

^ True, true. Though the majority of Abba’s songs which I’ve heard were the happy-sounding ones. Happy-sounding, if not actually happy in lyrical content.
But when I’m in the right state of mind, anything makes me happy. Even ‘Here Today ‘…
Did I ever mention I’m hopelessly optimistic?

I HATE THE SOUND OF MUSIC!!!!
(these are a few of my favourite thiiiiiinnnnggggsssss)
Then try this instead. The Sound Of Zig – these are few of my favorite songs…
‘Rain ’ is a great song, like ‘I Am The Walrus ’
‘I Saw Her Standing There ’ has a great chorus
‘Tomorrow Never Knows ’, inspired by Rings
These are a few of my favorite things
‘Hey Bulldog ’ rocks and so does ‘Ticket To Ride ’
‘It Won’t Be Long’ makes me feel happy inside
‘You Can’t Do That’ is a song that John sings
These are a few of my favorite things
‘Some Other Guy’ is a fabulous cover
‘You Really Got A Hold On Me ’’s another
‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps ’, from I Ching
These are a few of my favorite things
Then there’s ‘Yer Blues ’ and ‘The Word ’ too
‘Twist And Shout ’, I’ll add
‘I Want To Hold Your Hand ’ is one that I sing
Even though I sing so bad

I kinda become hopelessly optimistic as years go by, as well – not any particular reason. It’s just that I remember myself being pessimistic and edgy because I thought I was cool at the age of 12 being like that, but now I realize pessimism is just boring.

Studies have shown that it’s actually Mozart – which is why they have it on “hold” music so frequently.

Ironic then that you come off the phone pissed off at having been made to listen to the same damn tune for 25 minutes before the useless imbecile paid to help you but does nothing of the kind takes over and gets you nowhere.

True, but maybe if it hadn’t have been Mozart you may have ended up “going postal”!
