No, it means he's a rebel and a non-conformist. (Why is he hiding his nipples?)
I don't like to be mean, but STFU.
You know nothing about him. And he's hiding his nipples from Jesus obviously.
Are we still talking about Ronald Reagan or have we moved on?

Well at least your tastes have improved a lot…. A LOT….
May I ask what you mean by that, Mith?
Umb……..
Ok maybe I said it without thinking. I don't want to be mean. But the other guy Sunii likes looks better…
I didn't want to be mean with Christofer Drew. Rosaries and long tattoos are a total turn off for me….…
And the other guy I liked? Who is that?
Beatles>Christofer 🙂 ALWAYS.

Sorry if you were offended, Sunii, wasn't my intent at all. And you're absolutely right, I know nothing about him other than what that picture displays. But c'mon, lighten up and don't take these things personal – it's a guilty pleasures thread, after all! When we mention somebody we like on this thread, we're basically admitting to ourselves – in front of everyone – that they deserve at least a little ridicule. (They deserve it, not us. Important distinction.)
So, since there are no acorn-smileys, please accept as a peace offering this apple. And please feel free to say something sarcastic about somebody I like, such as Barbra Streisand, for instance. (Or Yoko Ono – lord knows she's taken WAY more abuse than anyone else in this forum, except maybe the brothers Jonas.)
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

Me neither. It's new to me, as is Christofer Drew Ingle.

I'm not sure if I agree that a guilty pleasure is defined as something you like that others “hate”. But, here goes.
Frank Sinatra – there I said it – no guilt!
If you've never seen it, comedian Joe Piscopo did an outstanding imitation of Frank doing a rock & roll medley. It's about the only thing he ever did that made me laugh out loud. Skip ahead to about :50 in for the start of it.
Hilarious!!

Okay, I actually sort of like ABBA. I found an old greatest hits album of theirs in one of our cupboards a couple of days ago, and I popped it in my computer. It's amazing how many of the songs I remembered. I knew 13 of the 19 songs on it, and the last time I listened to it was when I was about 3.
Since then I've just been going through all the songs. Voulez Vous has a pretty badass intro.
All their songs are earworms. They just get into your head, and you can't help but like them.
But this is the guilty pleasures thread, yes? Actually, I'm surprised no-one brought them up yet.

For me it has to be the Beach Boys , right up to 'Good Vibrations' they were serious rivals to the Beatles but how many people know that now? Paul, of course, has always cited them and, to this day, holds “Pet Sounds” to be one of the greatest records ever made and has stated it helped inspire “Sgt. Pepper “. In spite of this they are held in fairly low regard except as a lucrative touring showband ( with virtually no original members beside ol' Mike Love ). Brian Wilson was a bit of a genius in his day and a surprising amount of the back catalogue is still amazing even if most seem to view them as naff.

The Beach Boys are a guilty pleasure? I think they're just a fantastic band.
I would say mine is the Dixie Chicks, I took a trip down to Tennessee when I was younger and got all of their stuff stuck in my head for a while and have been secretly listening to them ever since…but don't tell anyone.

Hi Dear Prudence , I forgot to add that, I too, am a fan of E. C. I had the pleasure of seeing him perform live with the Attractions twice and once with T. Bone Burnett back in the 80's. Incidentally, Elvis and T.Bone did the most amazing cover of “Baby's In Black” on that occasion.
