*grumblegrumblegrumble* I suppose I should go get the links for my collection of funny forum posts.
I was sitting on my bed going to have a shower when I heard a fly at my patio door. I was going to let it out so it could spread more disease and whatnot but while I was fumbling with the door handle, the fly decided to land next to a hole built into the patio door.
Within 2 seconds of it landing there, a bloody MASSIVE spider came out of the hole in the wall, snatched the fly and brought it back to its lair. For about three seconds all I heard was frantic buzzing then silence. I was going to leave the spider alone (I hate spiders with a passion) but then it decided to come out five minutes later with fly corpse in tow and it decided to readjust the fly before crawling back into the hole.
And then I saw its true size.
Bloody hell!
So now it’s 3 hours later and I think I have successfully barricaded the hole from any enterings or leavings of it.
Phew.

Just found my old jumping rope and jumped for a bit.
Yes, I am truly a champion, the be all and end all of sports, THE ultimate athlete. I come over mountains, conquer the depths. I will rise, no matter what..
..so let’s ignore the fact that after about 30 jumps, I thought I was having a heart attack, started hyperventilating and everything around me started turning..
It better not mean they go back to the start and we get another bloody reissue of ‘Band On The Run ‘ instead of ‘Red Rose Speedway ‘, ‘London Town ‘ or whatever albums we are still waiting for. It’s been 6 feckin’ years since the Archive Collection started and i’m not having it restarted now.
Maybe going to Capitol means they can allocate at least one more person to getting these together instead of the individual they currently have who only comes in when it’s snowing in the Sahara.
@Paul McCartney , GET A BLOODY MOVE ON!!!!!!!!

Don’t even know where Zig and Zag stand on the issues. Or even if they stand, they could for all I know, sit or crawl on the issues.
All of the above, actually. We’ve also squatted, sauntered and hula hooped on the issues. Once, during an experimental phase, we sashayed on an issue. It wasn’t pretty.

Ooh. Another one:
Which Beatle made the album 34 and 1/2? What does the number refer to?
Paul. It referred to his hat size during one of his more egomaniacal phases.

I really like this post I made from the Beatles Trivia Even Easier thread:
He was fine with it but his sister in law Moon Unit Zappa, who’s BCFU Frank was secretly married to Frank Sinatra was not so happy about the 1968 song, which is called My mother is my grandma and my sister and my aunt/My father is my brother and my cousin and my uncle, a 28 minute jazz fusion influenced freestyle instrumental with no bass part and this instrumentation:
Paul McCartney: Lead Vocals (the only two articulate vocal parts are “my mother is my grandma and my sister and my aunt”, said at the beginning and “my father is my brother and my cousin and my uncle”, said towards the end, right before he passes out on the floor), Hammond Organ, Sound Effects (drinking 13 40 oz through a sports drinking hat, belching, flatulence, throwing up, pissing his pants, yelling, kicking and screaming, falling on the floor, having a seizure)
John Lennon: Acoustic Guitar (walks out after 15 minutes, stomping loudly and punching the wall on his way out)
George Harrison: Lead Guitar (1961 Fender Stratocaster), sleeping sound effects (actually him sleeping), eating popcorn and laughing during Paul’s seizure
Ringo Starr: Drums (stopped once Paul started having a seizure)
Pete Best: Tambourine
Unknown group of 7 people from local gay bar: Jumping up and down
The reason she hated the song was because it was too long, as well as the fact that it fully displayed Frank Zappa’s incestuous desires. Also, the song was performed in one take and the song stopped after Paul became unconscious and he had to go to the hospital where he spent 4 days in a coma.
What brand of popcorn did George eat while laughing at Paul’s seizure?
It’s about The Beatles recording a song and while they’re doing this, Paul gets so drunk that all of this stuff is happening to him, all while the tape’s still rolling.
If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

Also, why would the mods be deleting old posts? Have they always done that?
Any posts that are better or funnier than ours we have a vote on whether they deserve to remain on the forum or not.

That was just an exercise to openly demonstrate the forum spirit that was in abundance at the time.

Two posts I found very funny:
Which Beatle wrote Dizzy Miss Lizzy ?
Paul, before he decided to be more formal and proper and retitled it ‘Her Majesty ‘.

Are you kidding me, 2-4 are the best or why else would I say The Beatles at complete random?

I had a dream where I was really interested in getting into the Beach Boys , and so I was going to the forum to ask @sir walter raleigh or somebody which album I should start with. I also very vaguely remember something to do with The Hole Got Fixed.
For some reason I felt a little disappointed when I woke up.
Start with Pet Sounds.
Dream come true.
