I’ve been watching The Twilight Zone recently –does anybody here remember it? I’m watching the original late ’50s early ’60s episodes, mostly fantasy and science fiction, in glorious black and white. Some of them are a bit naïve from a modern perspective, but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless. Good job, Rod Serling (writer and probably producer).

Yep – so did Endora (Agnes Moorehead). She stars in another favorite TZ episode titled ‘The Invaders’. She shows off her brilliant acting skills through her actions only – she is the focal character in every scene and has no dialogue whatsoever.
Wow – just thinking about these and other episodes makes we want to start binge watching it…again!
Thanks, @Oudis!

Lately, I’ve been watching The Story Of Film: An Odyssey off of Netflix. It’s a miniseries about the history of film from the 1880’s to the present. The content is interesting, but I can’t watch more than one episode in a sitting because the narrator has a really obnoxious voice.

Bad, bad news. Mythbusters will end next year. This sucks. I was really enjoying the format change after they fired, Grant, Tory, and Kari.

And that was one of the only shows that I would actually be willing to watch. Utterly depressing to hear that news 🙁

Has anyone been watching the new The Muppets series? I know I’ve mentioned it already, but this show gets funnier with every episode. Last week, in a karaoke bar, the Swedish Chef did ‘Rappers Delight’. We had to rewind it twice, we were laughing so hard. Here’s the entire scene to put it into context. The stunned faces of the others is friggin’ priceless. It’s under the spoiler in case you don’t want to see it until it airs in your country.

My son will agree – he loves the show. Don’t mind it myself Now And Then . Maybe they have covered every myth know to (wo)mankind?

I binged The Walking Dead from the beginning. I’m convinced that is the best way to watch a serial like that. You keep up on continuity, and you can let the occasional bad ep roll off your back. There’s another show coming up in 15 seconds!
I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

I watched “24” in crazy solid blocks a few years back which also worked very well.
