Offline I’m currently watching Day Break, a 13-episode series; only one season was produced and then it was cancelled. The plot: Detective Brett Hopper, who is framed for the murder of Assistant District Attorney lives, due a time loop, the same day over and over. The series revolves around his attempt to solve the murder and find out who framed him. As I said it was cancelled so I don’t know what kind of ending it will have (maybe a disappointing one), but I like it; it’s kind of a Groundhog Day (remember that old movie with Bill Murray?) mixed with conspiracies and dirty cops.

Offline Certainly not a faourite but currently watching ‘Daeth Sentence’ where the lead man has been seriously shot(one of those lucky to be alive scenarios) but survived and immediately checked himself out of hospital upon waking. Now despite the police having an APB out on him he can freely move about the city not bothering to stay hidden where he occasionally winces to remind us he is sore. Oh and despite this soreness he can easily win in fights.
But he’s speaking in a growly voice so that means he is hard as nails.
Oooooh, John Goodman just came on the tv.

Offline This film just gets ever more stoopid. The father is now fully fine (cause you recover from a bullet to the chest in a few days and can go back immediately to running around like Usain Bolt) and has 40 trillion guns to shoot at the bad guys.
And John Goodman is dead, well his character is anyway. I like John Goodman, great actor. Only reason to ever consider watching that awful ‘Roseanne’ comedy.
Oh, everyone just shot everyone else and they are dead. Nope, despite 87,000 bullets entering their bodies the two main enemies are sitting down together for a chat.
And still it goes on. The father has driven off and entered his house to die. And the police have finally remembered they were looking for him.
Its finished.

Offline I’m currently watching the new Dr Who on Netflix for the second time. I’ve seen most of the 9th and 10th Doctor episodes on TV when they aired, but the 11th and 12th Doctors were new to me. I’ve bene binge-watching lately, wishing classic Who was on Netflix too!

Offline The original CSI is coming to an end with a 2 hour special. William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger will be back which is so cool, the show was never the same without Gil, got worse without Catherine, Brass left last year and now George Eads has gone. DB Russell is great and has dragged it back to a watchable level but the show should have been stopped a few years back.
DB will move to ‘CSI: Cyber’, another spin-off.
