Yeah it was a pretty bad ending but still warms the coldest chambers of my heart which says a lot but then that could be just young Dicaprio *shrugs*Here you go mmm found it, skip about halfway in
Oh yeah. I remember that now. This is why i cant stand most blockbuster US films as its felt they have to tack on a cheesy ending so the audience go home happy and all warm inside. The ending of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ shoved on a happy ever after ending and promptly weakened what could have been an amazing trilogy.

Yes I hated the ending of The Dark Knight Rises, it was so good and then that bloody ending! I was very annoyed when I saw it in the cinema and I haven’t watched it again (to be honest, that probably isn’t the endings fault- we just don’t own it on DVD and I hate watching films on the laptop.)
I have been watching a lot of Keeping Up Appearances because of my brother’s obsession with it….

Maybe I’m corny, but I thought that Bruce Wayne did deserve a break…

Currently watching Stephen King’s ‘Misery ‘ (well its on the tv), haven’t seen it for a few years. Annie is one scary woman, scares the living crap out of me, and still got to go thru one of the most wincing, agonising scenes i’ve seen in a film. Its in the spoiler but if you dont like watching scenes of agonising pain being administered do not watch this.

I’m pretty sure they were just doing a gritty remake of this scene.
See?

Finished the first season of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. It ranks as one of my all-time favorite shows. And it works not just as a wacky comedy, but also as a character study. I want to watch it all again when I have time. Maybe I’ll wait until Season 2 is ready to air.

@Necko I love Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee! Except for the emphasis on the car in every episode, which I don’t quite understand. But to each his own. It’s still a great series.

Is anyone baffled by ‘Googlebox’ where you watch people watch TV and how it is popular? How is that in any way interesting, surely there are better things to do in life than watch someone on tv watch someone on tv? And the bemusing thing is folk who hate Big Brother (watching people do or not do stuff) love it.
Its these kind of things that make me want to never socalise with people as if i had to go and talk about it in a pub or in work there would be a news report of a man pushed beyond breaking point.
And yes i see the irony in that i am talking about it here but only in the context of who watches such mindless crap.

A couple of those channels on Sky that you never knew existed are screening old episodes (season 4 with Emma Peel, season 6 with Tara) of the tv series ‘The Avengers’ (so not the Marvel comics ‘Avengers’). One of my favourite tv shows of all time (not counting the crappy 70’s series or the 90’s film). I remember watching repeats of the Tara episodes on Channel 4 on early Sunday afternoons as a kid.
The boxsets are too expensive for my demands and never on sale.
