Excuse my ignorance, but whose album is the third one on the top?
I *love* Tommy! The movie is crazy, but the music there is really good. Do you have Quadrophenia?
It's Animals by Pink Floyd.
Yeah, it was a tough choice between Tommy and Quadrophenia. And I like the movie. It makes the album a little more understandable, in my opinion.
I think if I had to get the Tommy soundtrack, I'd hunt down the one that came after the movie, and not before (which is what you posted). I mean, there's “Smash the Mirror” performed by Roger Daltrey (and I'm not hating on Roger!) and then there's “Smash the Mirror” by Ann-Margret, and in my mind, I guess Ann Margret is always going to be who I associate this song with. (I saw the movie when I was quite young, so there ya go.) That was an incredible scene in the movie.
Or you know, The Acid Queen, sung by Pete Townshend or Tina Turner. I would rather hear Tina (though I'm not hating on Pete, either!) And Listening to You which is on the movie soundtrack and not the first album. I love the concept that created the first album, but I think everything sounds so much stronger being electrified and with different artists performing the songs.

It wasn't until recently did I start listening to albums in full. I'm a lazy person when it comes to this. But I do have a couple:
The Beatles (White Album )
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars- David Bowie
The Dark Side of the Moon- Pink Floyd (phenomenal album)
Houses of the Holy- Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin IV- Led Zeppelin
The Doors- The Doors
Thriller- Michael Jackson
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy- Kanye West
Plastic Ono Band
Incredibad- The Lonely Island (seriously just a good album to laugh along with)
I think that's it.
Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

You just reminded me of how much I've been listening to Plastic Ono Band recently, so I guess that would be my favorite right now. There are just some incredible songs on that album, Working Class Hero , Look At Me , God , Mother , I Found Out . Isolation might be my favorite song of all time. I think I like songs better than albums though, I've always felt that some songs get overrated just because they are on a great album, like a few off of Pepper. But occasionally you'll run into an album that just blows your mind, like this one for me.

Easier to answer this than “favourite song”.
If I have to discount the Beatles and John (and George, who would otherwise come in for them), I would add The Holy Bible (Manic Street Preachers), When I Was Born For The Seventh Time (Cornershop), Diamond Dogs (David Bowie) and American Idiot (Green Day). Honourable mentions to Highway 61 Revisited (Bob Dylan), [What's The Story] Morning Glory (Oasis), Are You Experienced? (Jimi Hendrix Experience), and Them Crooked Vultures (Them Crooked Vultures).
I told her I didn’t
