Thinking about it, it is it just me, or does it seem that when The Beatles started getting into drugs, their music became more children oriented. I mean Sgt. Pepper , Magical Mystery Tour , and Yellow Submarine were clearly aimed at 5 year olds, as you’d be stupid as hell to go walking around in stupid walrus costumes singing about being a walrus if you’re aiming at teenagers. And Yellow Submarine is undoubtedly aimed at children, yet it seems like they were on LSD when they made it.
Sort of, the only problem is that the stuff off of The Beatles, Abbey Road , and Let It Be was somewhat drug influenced as well, but it doesn’t sound childish.

Not so much Abbey Road and Let It Be , more so The Beatles.
Maybe you should try posting more.

Dipping pacifiers in whiskey is pretty common for small children who are teething, especially from mothers who had their children at a young age and I don’t know why it caused such outrage. My mother was 13 when she had my older brother and 14 when she had me, so would’ve definitely been with the group of mothers who had their children at a young age. Even when she had my sister she was only 20.
Man, you’re mother was young. My friend’s mother was 17 when she had him.

Good point, although they were still doing drugs during those last 2 albums.

Calm your ass the hell down. I don’t know what sort of politically correct f****d up bullshit you’ve been taught in school, but using a small amount of alcohol on a baby for teething does not make your child mentally retarded. Hell, my mother dipped our pacifiers in alcohol when we were teething and both me and my older brother have done the same thing to all of our children and they all turned out fine, so I wouldn’t be stupid enough to get so pissed off about it.
Honestly I was being flippant, but it’s funny that you told me to calm down by desecrating me.

So any other reasons to lower the drinking age other than personal experience?
If you can't log in and can't use the forum go here and someone will help you out.

I can think of quite a few reasons:
1. Easy to get
It’s so easy to get alcohol if you’re under 21, My parents used to give me some on occasion during dinnertime ever since I was 6, my uncle used to give me some, I used to sneak some of my parents, I had a friend who’s 3 years older than me who would buy some for me, I’ve gone into Canada several times to get it, and I’ve made my own with my friends. It’s so easy to get alcohol if you’re under 21, it’s even easier than making meth.
2. Drunk driving rate
If you look at the drunk driving rate in Puerto Rico (the only area in the US where you can drink at 18), it is not as high as Hawaii.
3. Everything else is 18+
So why not this
I really am not the kind of guy to ask for educational things like this, as I stayed back twice and dropped out of high school when I was 16.

I agree it should be 18 too and I’ve been drinking at a young age. I wonder if you ever tried drinking rubbing alcohol, I did it once and it didn’t turn out so well.

In my opinion, we should stop thinking about legalizing weed and focus on making alcohol and tobacco legal for all ages. Even if they just lower the drinking age to 18, I will be jumping with joy, as I think it’s stupid as s**t to have the drinking age at 21 but the voting, smoking, and military age at 18 and the driving age at 16.
There isn’t a large enough demographic to campaign for lowering the drinking age. People under 18 can’t vote, and people over 21 don’t care anymore.
Also the strict ban of LSD, cocaine, and heroin allows for less regulation, lower quality drugs, and more dug related violence. Legalization would take these drugs out of the hand of drugs dealers and children. I’m not sure if its a good idea to legalize these drugs or not, but it’s just a thought.
