Finally!! Someone who agrees with me on this song! The lyrics leave a lot to be desired but it's one damn catchy tune.
Welcome to the dark side my friend.
Paulrus: Say, can I have some of your purple berries?
Zig: Yes, I've been eating them for 6 or 7 weeks now – haven't got sick once.
Paulrus: Prob'ly keep us both alive.
Sorry – been listening to alot of CSN lately.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Well played, Joe. You really know your UK vs US releases.
Now that we've covered this album, what about Spinner? I've always found it interesting that the first song recorded for it was the last track on it. You know, The Day After Today is Forever Clueless.

…and even more ironical, said song's very last words are “…the beginning!”
On another note, I like “Dash…” too, Zig – don't I get any berries? (Or am I to be punished for thinking of “Boats Made of Lumber” as a Washington Flyingmachine song instead?)
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

That's a great version as well von. That was definitely done by Washington Flyingmachine before they became Washington Millennium Falcon.
I'm fresh out of berries. Have an .

1. WHAT? (??????????????????????) (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
2. LOL!
3. I got a part in my school play!
You know, the song about the person who persistently refuses to present another person his/her needed funds.
No, I know what he means. It's more of a “how dare you” thing.
What don't you like about “You Consistently Refuse to Meet My Cash Demands?” The instrumentation?

Don't forget Spirit of Latex!
(BTW: Smileys and people's nicknames don't count. I made that up on the spot because I made this thread.)
EXCELLENT title! And excellent album, too, obv. Those songs!
“Invisible Guy”
“I'll Make Myself Invisible To You”
“I Can Clearly See Objects Behind You Because You're Invisible”
“Make Yourself Invisible If You Want To Continue Living” (sorry MMrs.M)
“What's Happening (Please tell me because I can't see you, because you're Invisible)”
“Use Your Own Brain (Because I will be absent – well, not really, but it'll look that way because I'm Invisible)”
Do you have a thing for invisible things? 😀

I like the first song, “Take Control Of My Automobile”.
(unless you have the US pressing, in which case it's “With My Eyes I Recently Became Aware Of The Front Of A Person's Head”.)

Other great tracks:
“Collector of Money Donated to the Government”
“Ellie R.”
“I Am Just Resting”
“Underwater Vehicle the Color of Ripe Bananas”
“It Was Spoken By Her (2x)”
“Wonderful Not-Night Full of Light”
“Your Avian Creature is a Troubadour”
“Not For Any Person”
“I Would Like to Inform You”
Not to mention the fourth track which I cannot think of a name for.
Sorry for the double (and really long) post!
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Your Avaian Creature is a Troubador?! Ha ha ha ha!
This: “With My Eyes I Recently Became Aware Of The Front Of A Person's Head” is also pretty damn awesome!

1. The front of someone's head is better than the back….
2. I know! It's so confusing!

I don't, I was just trying to fit song names in. I actually think it's a great song.
Having left school, with your cash wasted away,
You are unable to detect a path forward, but have no mortgage
The dosh has left, you must stay still
All employees have been fired
Tuesday afternoon, keep it going
The red van is not fast, it must stay still
But oh, it feels amazing, you must stay still.
Fantastic.
I told her I didn’t

Hey, I didn't write the songs! But three of those original titles did suggest invisibility to me, so I thought I'd try and work it into as many songs as I could, then gave up after five 'cause it was clearly too difficult.
Not to mention the fourth track which I cannot think of a name for.
“This Place, That Place, and Everyplace”?

1. It was cool while it lasted. I liked your “Make Yourself Invisible if You Want to Continue Living” thing. Even though I hate the song. As Zig said, the lyrics leave much to be desired.
2. That's the fifth track!
Also, we forgot the second track of Spirit of Latex: “Material from a Scandinavian Tree (This Avian Creature Has Used its Wings to Vacate the Premises)”

See post # 42.
Yeah, I'd seen “Omnipresent”! Nice and economical, an improvement really, 'cause “here” and “there” are basically redundant as long as “everywhere” covers 'em.
