Also as an aside, I wonder will they bring back Susan this series and have the Doctor visit her. Capaldi always said in interviews if he could go anywhere it would be to visit his granddaughter, so will they indulge him next series?
I have no idea who Susan is.

The first ever companion- the Doctor’s granddaughter.
Her departure was quite sad. He always said he’d visit her but he hasn’t…..yet anyways.

Ah. I watched the first series with her when BBC4 broadcast it in November 2013.
Maybe Susan can meet Jenny, another annoying individual they should have left for dead instead of having her coming back with a smug look before flying off, ready to irritate entire populations on other planets.

Oh yeah I don’t really like Jenny. I think she was meant to have her own spinoff, which is why she came back to life but it never got past the development stage.
I bloody love that Tennant married his on-screen daughter though, who is also the daughter of the 5th Doctor, Peter Davison.
The Doctor’s daughter played The Doctor’s daughter in “The Doctor’s Daughter” and then married The Doctor and had The Doctor’s daughter.

Oh dear I just finished ‘The End of Time’ on my rewatch, bye bye Tennant, hello Matt Smith
It’s his visiting all of his old companions that kills me, damn. Although I wish he would have said “you’re going to have a fantastic year” to Rose rather than a “really great year” but still :'(

I’m looking forward to this series, and who survives it… We already know this Doctor doesn’t…
Spoilers, Sweetie…
We get the Ice Warriors back this series (episode 9: The Empress of Mars). We get the return of Missy in episode 6, 11 and 12. More importantly, and only recently leaked, we get the return of John Simm as The Master. We’ve had more than one encounter with multiple incarnations of The Doctor, but I can’t remember him facing two incarnations of his arch-enemy/best friend together before. And there will be Cybermen….
Missy and The Master seem to be this series’ arc and finale.
And the next series will be a reboot. I am excited to see the slate that Moffat passes across to Chibnall to play with, and make his own mark on.

I’m friends with The Doctor bot on Skype and I got a message from him a few minutes ago. I told my mates “oh The Doctor Skyped me”…and now they think I am a nutter who believes The Doctor is a real person….
Anyways, how is everyone enjoying Series 10? It’s been pretty good so far, the only episode making me even slightly bored was ‘Thin Ice’ but all the rest have been very good. Next episode we shall see who is in the vault. I really hope it isn’t Missy or Simm’s Master as that just seems too obvious.

I was wondering, how do they add back the color to Doctor Who serials that only exist in black and white, I know that with some of them they took NTSC color videotapes and added the color signal to the PAL black and white print but others they used computer software. Do you know what this computer software is because I’d like to use it so I can try to add color to some Flip The Frog shorts that were supposedly originally in color but now only exist in black and white.

S10E12 SPOILERS, SPOILERS,
I was right on Bill being a one-season companion, I’m a bit unhappy that she got a ‘happy ever after’ ending, like Clara- why can’t Moffat just leave his characters dead when they would be much better storywise being dead, at least Davies left Donna unable to remember The Doctor (even if she did win the lotto).
Also, the faux-regenerations really annoyed me, I was kind of hoping we’d get a 13th reveal as Doctor Who Magazine this month is apparently written in a ‘you might know who the 13th Doctor is by now’ style but alas no new Doctor. (S)he should be announced this month though as Capaldi is going to Comic Con and it would be the perfect place for a reveal.
Finally, the David Bradley First Doctor role has been revealed- the first whispers of it were earlier this year (around February), and they’re currently filming the Christmas special at the moment and Bradley has been seen in full First Doctor outfit. He is a very good First Doctor though so it should be good.
I’ll see you all on Christmas Day for more of my ramblings 😉

I got in on Saturday night at 7:27pm and caught the last 3 minutes of the latest episode where The Doctor began to regenerate, as it was a regeneration I thought The Doctor’s hearing and senses were gone aka a weird effect to help highlight the screwed up nature of it all. Arty and all that.
3 minutes ago I saw this
Apologies to anyone who may have experienced sound issues with @DoctorWho tonight. We're looking into it.

Should add I’ve seen very little of the new series having given up on garbage overly convoluted storylines which end with the Doctor saving everyone – death, time and believability being thrown out the window, no one dying, some pain in the arse (normally the assistant) saving the Universe by thinking of some bollocks like a happy thought or of a word like peace, and the feeling of Moffat being so up his own backside in his sense of his own brilliance. Should have thrown the bullshit out of the window when Capaldi joined, instead they went down a route that made it utter tripe.

So today (16 July) we get to learn the actor/actress playing the 13th Doctor following the Wimbledon Mens final.
Excited to see who’s next!

^ Yeah but all 12 white guys have been absolutely brilliant for the role- The Doctor has never been miscast, which is really something. I just hope whoever they are is a brilliant actor/actress and can bring a new interpretation to The Doctor.
