Anything I set my mind to, I currently own a left handed Fender Stratocaster, a left handed Epiphone acoustic, a left handed Ibanez Mikro Bass, 2 lefty conversions I plan on selling soon, a drum set built from 2 different drum sets, a digital keyboard, a tambourine, and a cowbell, as well as a microphone and a Marshall solid state amp so I can plug my guitar in, here are my settings for my Strat by the way.
On the guitar:
Knobs all rolled up to the max, such as the Bb5 during the end of the opera part of Bohemian Rhapsody
Bridge pickup
On the amp:
Gain 8
Bass 2
Mid 5
Treble 10
Reverb 50 on side B
Volume 25 or 50
Master 25, 50, or 100

I’ve played piano by ear for a number of years but I recently discovered it sounds better if I use my fingers.

Some might consider that statement audacious to the point of boastfulness. I approve. Anyone can play anything they set their minds to.
As for myself, I still play guitar, a bit of bass, not much ukulele, almost no piano, and copious air-drums… and sometimes, as Johnny said, I play the fool.

@Dark Overlord do you always keep your strat settings the same and change tone through your amp?
I keep both the same for the most part, although since there are channel switching options on my amp, I often switch between clean and distortion depending on whether or not the song needs a clean or distorted sound or for some songs, such as Taxman or I Want It All by Queen, I switch mid song. Also, my amp has built in effects, so I can use chorus for Something and delay for Brighton Rock by Queen.

I play piano and bass the best out of all the instruments I play. I’ve dabbled with a large amount of other instruments, including the guitar, harmonica, lap harp, ukulele, flute, recorder, violin, accordion, and a few different types of drum. I have a lot of trouble playing instruments like the harmonica/flute/recorder now because of my breathing issues, but sometimes I still mess around with them for fun. I love trying new instruments even if I won’t play them very often.

Mr Leslie T McDonald Says:
My first guitar was a ’53 Fender Strat but I started playing Gretsch guitars while learning songs by Chet Atkins. When the Beatles, George Harrison , had a Country Gentleman, I switched to an Orange, Chet Atkins 6120. This was in 1963. I was on the road with Johnny and the Hurricanes and recorded using the Orange Gretsch 6120. After retiring, I have seen similar Gretsch and Fender bandmaster amps in several collections of great performers. Lennon, Del Shannon, Chochran and Setzer. Seems to me I started an Orange Gretsch 6120 trend in early rock.
I traded my Orange Gretsch 6120 for a Gibson Firebrand 335, in the early ’70s and looked for my Orange Gretsch owner for 20 years.
Finally, the owner found me and we’ve been proud to be a part of the Chet Atkins, Orange Gretsch 6120 history.

I’m self taught in ukulele, guitar, piano, bass, flute, piccolo, and mandolin. But now days I’m really only good at guitar, ukulele, bass, flute, and mandolin because those are my mains. Mandolin is the most recent. I’ll list my main gear below, I’ll leave out the crappy gear.
Takamine GN77KCE-NAT (this guitar is the love of my life, if i could marry it i would)
The Loar A style mandolin
Fender Zuma Ukulele (i only bought it because of the tele headstock)
Yamaha B foogtjoint flute
Jupiter piccolo
i have an ibanez mikro bass, i hate it though the action needs to be adjusted ever time i play… then it pops back out again. I will soon be getting a J Bass or Hofner
i have a fander mustang, i want to sell it for a tele
epiphone special II les paul (all black) this guitar is a secret from my mom so i never play it since it is a family members house in TN (about 2 hrs away)
i have a casio keyboard but i just use the piano in band hall if i wanna get super serious about piano
After you learn guitar/music theory (which taught itself for me) you can virtually pick up any stringed instrument and fake it til you make it. This is why I recommend guitar to anyone starting music.
I wanna get betterr at mandolin, piano, and ukulele, get a better bass, and learn drums next.

Update: I play more bass now
I have also attempted mandolin but I really don’t like how small the fretboard is so I never play it enough to get any good. I love bass though, nice big strings and frets, very fun. I have smallish hands but I just enjoy it, idk

Jeez alot can change in just over 6 months.
Takamine is great and all, but my dream guitar is a D28…
Love my mando
Idk why I left out the other 2 ukuleles I have… I have 3. I even left out the one I played me first ever gig on when I was 9.
I still love the Yamaha Flute and the Jupiter Piccolo
I gave the Ibanez Mikro to the middle school before I went to high school so the next bassist in jazz band can use it. I got a jazz bass… and am totally in love with it. I tried a hofner in the guitar center and the neck was so thick I could barely play it. How do you do that Paul? I also used to play on Roundwound strings until a few months ago and that totally made me fall in love with bass when I got flats. Rounds aren’t for me
I still have the fender Mustang. I tried to do a refinish on it myself, I gave up. Now idk what to do with it. It lives in my closet rn. I hate that guitar kinda. I still wanna sell it, but I’m gonna wait til I have a car and a job so I can do it without having to go thru my parents probably.
Haha I now own that Les Paul. I love it, but jeez my shoulder hurts.
That Casio is now broken. I’m trying to get something with like 3 pedals soon. Something like a korg b2 with that stand. 88 key something for sure tho.
I know even more about theory and am arranging music now woo
I have also added clarinet and spoons to my repertoire
Instead of typing out everything I want to play, here’s my notes app:
Ps. I built a diddley bow, but deleted the yt vid of me making it bc I cursed way too much. Construction be hard… also idk why I didn’t but drums on that list ????

I haven’t played a Hofner bass, but I know that many people do. Here’s First Aid Kit with a cover of George Harrison ‘s song Behind That Locked Door :
The video mainly focuses on Klara Söderberg playing guitar, while Johanna Söderberg is shown playing a Hofner bass.
I think Johanna has quite large hands so maybe that makes it easier for her?
