have noticed a lot of other bands having their own individual topics like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. so i thought Hey!!!! Why not a Fleetwood Mac Topic.
So are there any Fleetwood Mac Fans out there (EVERYBODY OUT THERE). Anyone have any favorite songs or Albums by them. My Favorite song by Them is Dreams and my Favorite Album is Rumors
I Think that Rolling Stone should do a cover story of The Rolling Stones covering "Like a Rolling Stone" or if a Type of Beetle was named after The Beatles.

Offline The only album I’ve listened to them is Rumours, but it’s a really great album and I’m thinking of checking out more. Don’t know about a favorite song, even from that album, but “Don’t Stop” is up there.

I’m a big fan of the first and second Fleetwood Mac. I still think Peter Green was touched with and perhaps damaged by his genius……..

Offline In the late sixties my old man woke me up late one night to hear them playing ‘Albatross’ live (on a black and white TV!)
I think ‘Man of the World’ is a brilliant song also. I just love those bendy first few notes. Peter Green reminds me of Pink Floyd’s troubled genius Syd Barrett and a few others. Not really a fan of the more poppy modern stuff but you can hear it’s well crafted, like say The Eagles or The Carpenters music.
