Bruh I just want to go to physical school for my senior year
And I want my son to start his Freshman year of high school in an actual school…
There needs to be some creative thinking to make that happen especially since most public schools are already overcrowded, like having staggered hours or days, alternating remote learning and classroom learning etc.

And then everyone will think “oh good it’s over back to normal we go,” social distancing will be out the window, and the just-coming-back-down curve will shoot right back up again.
Are you saying that you think it’s a bad idea to phase out of quarantine when it ends? I think phasing out would be the safest. If people want to get together they will regardless of how strict or lax the rules are. They have caution tape around the playgrounds by me and signs saying that they’re closed. I still see people there with their kids every day the weather’s nice. I have a few acquaintances who are posting things on snapchat with different people almost every day of the week. Wisconsin opened up bars and people are driving there from Illinois to go out drinking. Social distancing is already out the window for the people who will think that way.
Of course we should phase out. We just shouldn’t phase out *yet*.
And I, too, would like to attend school for real again, but I’m not at all optimistic that that will happen. 🙁

Stay 1 Beatles apart: Japan design firm’s take on social distancing
A Japanese design office has produced a series of humorous infographics to promote social distancing, including one referencing the iconic cover of The Beatles’ “Abbey Road ” album, with the slogan, “Let’s stay one Beatles apart.”

Hello everybody!
I hope you’re all safe and well. I believe, the best way to cope with this stressful situation, is to smile. We must be positive minded. That’s why I decided to record a cover version of our lovely “Let it be” by The Beatles. I’m one poor boy, trying to share his music and voice with the rest of the world. If you want to spend a couple of minutes just to check my version of this song, please click here:
Thank you very much and be healthy! 🙂

Saw John early this morning too. I love how the guy keeps doing his job just as thoroughly from his home, the show didn’t lose an ounce of quality. Even without the public he keeps making those dorky jokes. It’s kind of cringy but totally respectable, he sticks to his brand.

Aw man, I love Jelle’s Marble Runs! I’ve been watching their stuff for a while now, and even though it’s really just marbles, it still never gets old.
This is a favourite video of mine:
I just love watching them all roll along to different places. Somehow, it’s so satisfying.

@WeepingAtlasCedars, what team do you root for? I’m a Team Galactic fan myself but I also support the O’rangers from time to time if Galactic are out of the question.
And I agree, it is very ~satisfying~ to see the mechanisms and tracks that Jelle has set up work and to see all the marbles roll around.

Oh.
When I was young we were taught to use consonants and vowels as they formed words, we then put them into some sort of a coherent sentence so those reading had some idea of what we were talking about. Nowadays it seems to be random letters and folk either searching online or asking to break the code.
Yes, I’m old.

Peace and love, Safe and warm. Stick together while staying apart.
You will probably (most likely) lose your Get Back 50th anniversary to the Coronavirus (meaning it will be cancelled), as well as losing your family, but we can pull through this in the next 10 years.

I apologize.
Believe me, I was taught the same, but I sometimes ignore those time-honored methods like the Rebel Rebel I am

It will not be cancelled. The new Peter Jackson film may see an online/DVD/Blu-Ray only release, rather than cinema, but will be released, and there will be a (late) deluxe edition of the album to coincide. Too much money and time already spent to be otherwise.
I have no doubt about that, even if it is further delayed from September.
