The highlights of the film are as follows: Paul has lovely hands, there is a big continuity error in it that seemingly no one spotted or simply didn’t care enough to fix, there’s quite a few dogs, a cat, and the British taxpayers paid for about 20 police officers to find Paul McCartney ‘s mastertapes- what a great allocation of limited resources.
We then watched a Beatles cartoon which to the annoyance of everyone- Apple has had the songs removed so we’re only left with the bookends of each episode.
Next week we have a few choices:
Two of Us- The McLennon love story biopic
John and Yoko- A Love Story- pretty self-explanatory and it goes on forever too, 2.5 hours!!!
Paul McCartney Really is Dead: The Last Testament of George Harrison – a totally real final recording made by a terrible George Harrison impersonator on his deathbed detailing how poor Paul died.
I look forward to seeing you all again next week, ’twas fun! And new viewers are always welcome!

Who would have thought that Liam Gallagher would make a video of him washing his hands whilst singing adapted versions of some of his biggest song. It’s brilliant viewing.

So that’s me in the house for the next ten days if nothing changes. Exciting times.
Trying to find the positives and see it as a good thing so I plan the following;
- Rest. I’m always working, away out or exhausted so this will be a change of pace – which cannot be bad.
- Cook. I have a ton of supplies in so will do some cooking, making proper meals (tho will no doubt cave in and get a takeaway at some point. Chippie delivered to your door without feeling incredibly guilty for not walking to get it sounds brilliant.)
- Clean. My house could do with a really good clean and no excuses not to.
- iTunes. Sort out music folders on iTunes that I have never gotten around to like the 50th ‘Abbey Road ‘ tracks.
- Walk. Go for walks whilst avoiding everyone. Did it last Thursday when out getting meds and shopping and it was fun turning it into a kind of game.
- Garden. I have deliveries coming for it so get all those sorted out and create a nice outside haven for the better weather.
I’ll probably do none of the above and spend my time watching crap on TV, posting garbage on here and living on takeaways meaning I leave my house 35st heavier.

As we speak, my country is currently undergoing a lockdown whereby all movement is restricted except essential services. Whilst our government (of Malaysia) did a very good job, it was until roughly two weeks ago where a new major cluster appeared on the map. Due to the meeting of nearly 15,000 religious attendees at a mosque in a major district nearby my area, the number of cases went up from two digits previously to almost four digits now. We also went from no fatalities to 19 at the time of my writing.
This incident has not only destroyed any chances our country bracing safely against a second wave, but also ruined the chances as well for almost of the South-East Asia region. It did not help that the attendees not only prayed in close proximity to each other, they also did not practice basic prevention protocols and even ate en masse together with many sharing similar bowls and cups.
At the time of writing, a similar incident in Indonesia also happened a week ago, and officials are warning residents there to brace for impact as well. Currently in my country, the lockdown has been implemented so seriously that both the Royal Malaysian Police and the Malaysian Army has been dispatched to punish any dissidents ignoring protocol. As such, it is safe to assume that the situation is pretty bad, though thankfully it seems not as bad compared to Europe at the moment.
To all my other fab fellows, keep calm and don’t forget to keep the virus away. If we can survive the Spanish flu with much worse medical protocols, I’m sure we can survive this.

Well, after the hordes descended on beaches, parks, national parks, markets, etc., yesterday – completely ignoring ignoring the call for “social distancing”, the UK is now effectively in lockdown for a minimum of three weeks.

Had to happen and if folk do not fall in line with these measures then even tighter ones will follow until it is complete lockdown with very severe penalties if not followed. How many times do people have to be told of the risk they are taking with themselves and so many others by not staying at home? It’s not that difficult to do.

^^^While boss man Varadkar has said we aren’t, we’ll have to do something similar soon.
Load of selfish t***s thinking now is the time to go out and stroll along side by side near the coastline, bored teenagers meeting up and their even worse parents letting them out.
Like, I’ll happily give them my college assignments and my notes if they’re so bored. I really can’t be arsed to do them and would rather just talk s***e with my friends online.

In my humble state of Pennsylvania, state cases have risen to 644 and there have been 6 statewide deaths , one being in my own county. Oof.
To help limit the spread of the virus, enforcement will begin Monday for Gov. Tom Wolf’s order to close all non-life-sustaining businesses.
Pennyslvania voters will have to wait to weigh-in on the upcoming Presidential election. Lawmakers confirmed to Channel 11 an agreement is in place to move the state’s primary from April 28 to June 2 due to the coronavirus.
Also,
Starting at 8 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police, local officials, the state Health and Agriculture departments and the Liquor Control Board will start enforcing the closure of all non-life-sustaining businesses.
My guitar teacher was anticipating this. This weekend he packed up all the stuff in his store and took it to his house. He was nervous that people will start to get ideas about breaking into and robbing vulnerable, unattended businesses. I don’t blame him.
Some hospitals are changing their visitation policies and the local grocery store chain, Giant Eagle, are going to install plexiglass dividers at registers and no longer allow the use of reusable bags (which I guess I understand, but still why not just have able shoppers bag their groceries themselves?). Additionally, all PA state parks and forests are closed until April 30th.
Slippery Rock University and Carnegie Mellon University have officially canceled their spring commencement ceremonies. Additionally, Carlow University has postponed its commencement. I surprised the bigger schools like the University of Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania State University haven’t chosen to do the same, considering they have hundreds of more students than SRU or CMU.

My mom’s partner works for a landscaping company, and he has been working way too hard trying to get everyone to take this whole situation seriously. We’re also having problems here in Oregon of people going to beaches because people are idiots and this has proven it to me beyond a shadow of a doubt. Our governor has finally issued a statewide stay-at-home order, after much waffling and pressure from outside groups to take decisive action.
How yours truly is spending his time: lots of reading (currently reading short story collections from Haruki Murakami and Franz Kafka), hiking (away from people), and board and card games with my mother. Life is on hold, and I’m daily trying to stave off depression, but everything is fine.
Thinking of watching a movie tonight. I love old monster and sci-fi movies, so I might go down that route. We’ll see. The best part of all this is my total lack of responsibilities to attend to.
So glad we have this thread!
