I thought Billy Crudup was George Harrison . a-hard-days-night-ringo-6

I fell asleep while watching VH1 and then when I woke up,  I thought I
had seen George on TV. It was Billy Crudup on Almost Famous. He looks
like George. I dunno if this was intentional. It must have been. Cameron
Crowe is good, but his movies are not my cup of tea.

BTW Paul's Vanilla Sky is awesome. The movie was HORRIBLE, no matter what Alejandro Amenabar says. paul-mccartney

You do win – Percy Jackson is the s**t. a-hard-days-night-john-6Not that staying up till 4 doesn't sound fun or anything, but still…

Re: Starwisher – Didn't know he did the artwork, but cool! I guess I should have noticed that the artwork looks just like that of Revolver . And ya, I do that when I look at pictures of myself from younger years, too.

Percy Jackson was my life before I became a Beatles fan. I still love it with a passion, and the guy who plays Percy in the movie is a huge Beatles fan so I guess that makes reading a series aimed at 12 year olds a bit more… acceptable 😛

YAY FOR PJO!

Okay, now for my confession.

I am addicted to coca cola. I also love AHDN .

The first time I drank it after watching it I sniffed the bottle.

My mother asked me what in the hell I was doing and why.

I said “I aspire to be like John Lennon . Problem?” a-hard-days-night-john-1

And she went on drinking her coffee.

Gr8 confession, do you agree?

I have confessions to make. I sometimes (all the time) make up a little story in my head, that I was hired to work for the Beatles and travel and live with them. I also often dream about being in love with all of them :). I also don't hate Yoko, like some others do. I never really saw a real reason to hate anybody, so I just don't. Also, I have a small group of friends (there are four of us, so this works out just fine) and we have decided what Beatle we were like. I am the John of the group, and I enjoy being him! He rocks!a-hard-days-night-john-6

Fine then. What are your views on Pattie Boyd? Since this is the confessions thread, I must confess I am not very fond of her but when I see pictures of her I want to starve myself.

Most People Hate Pattie, but I don’t really know why. It must be jealousy, as She did get both George and Eric Clapton.

I read the book she wrote not too long ago, and I admit that when she was growing up and during the time the Beatles was popular, she reminds me of one of those girls that *have to* go into the bathroom with another girl friend and gossip about boys and clothes, etc., as they reapply their makeup.

But I'm not really laughing *at* her, or disparaging her, because she just sounded so sweet, even though at times in the book she struck me as a bit flighty. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm criticizing her at all, because I really have no problem with her. I have no idea why people hate her either, other than being possessed with unbridled jealousy.

While reading the book, there were plenty of times when I felt sympathetic toward her. And again, the way she was telling things, it like meeting your girl friend at a coffee shop, and as she's rattling off all the ways her husband's being a beast to her, there's nothing you can do but offer support and, yeah, take her side of things. I was reading the book and there was a few points where I felt her paragraphs were like a conversation and in between I could only think “NO! He DIDN'T!” and then “OK, go on…” and keep reading. I know things are generally embellished for an auto-biography most times, but after reading the book, I seriously don't blame her for leaving him, though it was quite sad.

Oh, look, a *9*!

i might say I'm jealous of Patti because she married George, but that's a George fan thing to say. To be honest.. why would I envy her? Her  marriages didn't end up well…..

I”m guessing most people don't like Pattie is mostly jealousy. I'm completely fine with her and most of the other Beatle wives. The only one I seriously dislike is Heather Mills. And I”m not too particularly fond of Maureen, but I'm not quite sure why. Probably just a gut feeling.
