Kind of the same here. I think for me it might’ve been A) blocking the music on YouTube or B) simply just getting into more artists. But for me, it’s slowly coming back because every time I hear a song I haven’t heard in a while, I’m just like “Oh. My. Gosh. I haven’t heard this in eternities!”

Offline I try to keep my albums in weekly rotation, but sometimes I do feel like Beatlemania has become a habit rather than an all-consuming obsession (though no one outside my head would ever know it, one must keep up appearances, y’know
). And lately I’ve been more solo-y than Beatle-y. But then every Now And Then I’ll go, Whoops, ’tis time to rock out to Revolver , or something, and it’s even better.

This was a factor for me.
What really got me into the Beatles in the first place was their stage presence in those live performances. Also, listening to song after song that wasn’t blocked. I’ve already discussed what a capitalistic ploy Apple has made elsewhere….
Only music can save us.

Offline When I was logged on on two accounts I would be on one with my phone and on the other with my iPod. It’s pretty simple, actually. I think being on at the same time is a bit sketchy of an excuse to say you’re not the same person.

I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.
