Offline @trcanberra, what have they done now?
Banks are lovely when you have money and want to do something with it with them. Try to take it out and/or have it moved elsewhere and lives becomes a pain. And never ask for help ever with anything financial unless you are very rich to begin with and can easily pay it back within 32 seconds.

Offline I didnt each chocolate for years but then i got ill and was told chocolate was something good to have. So purely on medical advice i am to eat chocolate.

Well @meanmistermustard, we are close to selling the “investment” disaster house – we have an offer on the table and are just waiting for some details to be sorted; but the legal area of the bank can’t wait and issued a “Notice to Vacate” within 7 days or they would send the law to evict the X and seize the house.
Then of course they would auction the house at a pitiful price.
Then say we still owe them money and sell the house I am in at a pitiful price.
Rather than let us sell both at a decent price so that both parties do okay.
I managed to stave them off for a week so as long as contracts exchange during that time we will be okay – it’s in the lap of whatever crazies run this universe now.

Actually, I don’t hate them – Hell, I’ve never even seen any of the movies. I am just sick and tired of seeing them advertised beyond belief. Apparently, Madison Avenue has never learned the meaning of the words overkill or oversaturation.
