One of my friends calls me John so I guess I could be classed as an “it”.
“Why?” I hear you all cry, well…
A few years back in Irish camp, I was meeting one of my coworkers a fellow leader and the conversation went something like this (just imagine it’s in Irish and lets call him Paul for fangirl reasons)
Paul: So what’s your name?
Me: *I’m busy talking to somebody else*…oh…Cáit** or Katie whatever I don’t care
Paul: So which do you prefer Katie or Cáít?
Me: Call me whatever you want
Paul: Alright then, John it is
Me:
And that’s how it was born so feel free to confuse new users and call me ‘John’
**’Cáit’ as the majority of ye know, is my name in Irish…and I hate it because it sounds like the Irish for ‘cheese’ >.>

I like it too. I never get tired of hearing it…
I like this part:
“The Watusi….The Twist.”
“….El Dorado.”
“Take this, brother. May it serve you well.”

I had never seen/heard/recited the Pledge of Allegiance till just now.
The advantages of being educated outside of the public school system…

So no pledge to America is a plus?!
The first thing I think of is in supersize me where there in D.C and asking people to say the pledge in front of the white house and none of the could do it.

Confession: I know ‘The Pledge of Allegiance’ despite the fact I am not in any way American, and no I don’t know why either :/

My thinking was that the plus is in not getting pledges drilled into your head; instead, you can use that brainspace for useful things, like the lyrics, melody and chord structure of a hundred and fifty Beatlesongs, or the complete UK albums tracklisting.

Unfortunately, I very much doubt that would work as you are about two years older than I, for one thing; and for another, I can say with some confidence, knowing my own genetic background, that we look nothing alike.
Back to the drawing board!
