I thought I posted this already… Hmm:

Makes sense for Moonlight (wish he and Faceo would come back), but the others I don’t know… I mean Joe?! Where would you get that from Joe? Completely different.

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

Can buy Joe love!

Ahh I did start writing it on my phone!

ASJ, makes sense for Moonlight (wish he and Faceo’d come back[well, more often, they’re here occasionally])

Sorry… Off topic, I know you don’t care… Carry on

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

Oh cool, a third of the previous page is about how to pronounce my name, never thought it would be so difficult for foreigners haha

Rodney is one of the worst boy names IMO, I think MMM has a nicer name than that. Sorry if I offended any Rodneys on here.

It’s not that it’s hard to pronounce, just for me personally, I read it wrong originally and continue thinking it wrong unless I’m consciously thinking of the pronunciation.

Yeah, Rodney is an odd name and I can’t see MMM with a name like that.

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

I can confirm my real name is not Rodney. Even if it had of been as soon as it became legal for me to do so it would have been changed – the thought of being called Rodblue-meanieyoko-ono_01

Note to self: I shall add “biscuit tin” to my list of Britishisms that are slightly “off” from their American counterparts (here it would be cookie jar) — like “boot” (for car trunk), “flat” (for apartment), “chips” (for fries), “zebra crossing” (for crosswalk), and many more…

Me: “Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. I’ve never confessed my sins in my whole life, this is my first time. I’m a confession virgin.”

Father McKenzie: “What is troubling you, my son?”

So, this idea came to me while I was writing my three options for the “Guess the lie” thread. We all have our guilty sins –our guilty pleasures. Here’s mine: I love watching zombie movies. Not only the ones made with a big budget (like the Resident Evil saga, or World War Z with Brad Pitt), but the cheapest, most awfully shot low-budget ones. There is something in that kind of movie that attracts me like no other genre does. I loved “The Walking Dead”. I have seen the four adaptations of Richard Matheson’s I Am Legend (the 1964 first one with Vincent Price is the best) and hope there is a fifth. I identify, I think, with the lonely survivors (or one single survivor) surrounded by half-dead half-alive creatures with no intellect driven by their hunger.

So, what your guilty pleasure? Is there anybody here willing to admit they like soap-operas? Sappy romantic movies? Jennifer Aniston’s films? Watching erotic clips online? Are your cholesterol levels high but you often go to KFC? Are you overweight but indulge in cakes? Anything goes: be brave, stand up and say: “My name is …, and my guilty pleasure is…!”

By the by: it’s up to the Mods to leave this thread here or move it somewhere else.

Forsan et haec olim meminisse juvabit” (“Perhaps one day it will be a pleasure to look back on even this”; Virgil, The Aeneid, Book 1, line 203, where Aeneas says this to his men after the shipwreck that put them on the shores of Africa)

@Oudis, I think this is a good thread for your zombie movie affinity revelation.

I should probably make my confessions and guilty pleasures be known in the Fifty Shades thread.

Post one of that thread states that the thread is to be about guilty music pleasures only.

Perhaps this thread’s title should have a nod to Father McKenzie in it. That’s a good one, @Oudis.

Thank you for the information about the notification thingy, @Starr Shine?.
