Happy Christmas, or however you say it in your country and/or belief system. This Christmas has been the least christmasy one I’ve ever been through. However, it marks the end of a year, which marks the start of a new year. Hopefully, 2021 is a better year for all of us around the world.

I got a Ukulele from Father and Mother Shears Campbell, so I can stop using Father Shears Campbell’s Uke that he never uses.

I actually do have a library of recordings I made a couple of weeks ago. I’ll have to upload a few, I’m just a bit self conscious.

@Timothy finally got my hand on the Mad Monk, thanks to my Grandma I now have the original issues. Can’t wait to read. :3;
Lucky I checked in here because I didn’t get a notification with the @ mention.
I’ve been inside mostly with the air conditioner on. Been learning to rollerblade in the evenings. Getting good at it now.

Tho I have ordered a Christmas tree to be delivered around the 20th December (the UK may be in meltdown by then so important to have the tree).
Anyone got any plans after the misery of last year when you could meet up with one other small group (no larger than a family of four (including children)) if:
- All windows and doors remained open at all times
- Each group was in a different location at least 50 meters away at all times (no hugging/touching/rubbing/stroking/patting or any other bodily contact – if you can see the person without squinting you’re too close)
- There was no present exchanging or celebrations of any kind
- All food and drink had to be consumed only the individual group providing them (no sharing anything at any time)
- Visits lasted no longer than two hours or the total travel time in both directions (whichever was the shortest)
*We hope you have a great time together.*

Considering my entire family now consists of me, my parents, my grandma, and 5 aunts and uncles (2 of whom are unlikely to even be in the country for Xmas), I don’t think we’ll have much trouble fitting into the density limits (currently max. 10 inside here).
As for plans?
Not yet. It’s only just November!

Ahhh Mom is coming out here for Christmas. Haven’t made plans beyond that.
I ordered Sacher Torte’s Christmas presents yesterday.

I’ll probably invite a friend or two over on Christmas Eve, get pizza from the place across the street, and listen to the Charlie Brown Christmas album again like I did last year. At some point I’ll go exchange gifts with my mom and my stepfather (who was previously my father in law).

A slightly drunk Kim Wilde on the tube after the MagicFM (radio station she DJs for) Christmas party last year. The guy on guitar is her brother, Ricky, who wrote much of her stuff – including Kids in America. Love this!
This is brilliant. If I was there, I would have put my phone away and joined in with her.
