My wife and I haven’t kept too many childhood traditions alive, but I suppose I enjoy it when we see The Nutcracker, the model trains exhibit, the ice sculptures or the community where all the trees outside are strung up with different colored lights.

I have picked the one Christmas song I will listen to during the season to be merry:

When I go round to my parents on the 25th,my mum always puts on Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul as soon as I get there. It’s like a tradition. I also like Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin Stevens,as it was number 1 in the charts on the day I was born

Got a Christmas tree yesterday and spent the evening decorating, of course with accompaniment of our favourite seasonal music (my favourite part of the holidays).
I also heard ‘Wonderful Christmastime ‘ at the shop a couple weeks ago, but it was before Thanksgiving so I don’t count it.

I was told that after black friday we’d start playing Christmas music at my work. I was so excited about it, but I was let down greatly the day after black friday when I went into work. We still play the same garbage music, just now there’s an occasional garbage version of a Christmas song. ):

Started addressing Christmas cards last night. So exciting. I love the cards I am sending out this year. I can’t say what they are because some people on here will be getting one.

Well, the Christmas tree I didn’t know I was expecting was delivered today. I knew @Ahhh Girl had sent something because I’d missed a couple of attempts to deliver. And it was a Christmas tree. Luckily pre-decorated as I don’t have decorations. Can’t remember the last time I had a tree.
So I have been struggling with where to put a tree. I think I have settled with it going on the set-top box next to the TV, with the Chrimble cards received the past couple of days, one from Ahhh Mom and the other from AG and Oh Boy.
Thanks one and all.

I’ve been busy making Christmas cards for me mates. A couple of them I liked too much to give away, so me mates are getting scanned-printed-outs instead

Christmas cheer for me includes playing #whamageddon with friends on facebook and putting socks on my cat to simulate elf-hats (he fails to appreciate the humour). Well, it’s free. And terrible christmas song parodies, always up for those

My sister is getting a Beatley present from me. As I mentioned months ago, my dad’s best friend Paul left me a box of records two days before he died. My sister is really into vinyl, so I’m giving her the Beatles records from the box. I think that the Magical Mystery Tour is an original 1967 copy.

I’m not sure one of AG’s favourite UK stores thought this Chrimble promotion through…
Twining’s are outraged at Poundland for doing that ad, seems odd they wouldn’t have checked with the brand before publishing the advert. That, and I’m sure one of the tea companies would be able to see how much promotion that’d get their brand but eh *shrugs*.

Merry Christmas to all, to those that love me, to those that hate me, to those who feel indifferent towards me, and those who are unaware of my existence, I hope you have a very merry Christmas. As for how’s my Christmas going I got a new laptop but I don’t have a flash drive to create a backup so I have to wait until tomorrow to use it. I also got a lot of headphones, bringing up my total number to 6, hopefully my brother doesn’t chew on them and break them like he’s done with all of my other headphones.
