Have a great end of year all.

Preparing now for Christmas Eve dinner with HKL and my two daughters and assorted partners – should be a great evening. My son is down in Sydney with my ex – I think they are visiting Melbourne for the week.

Somehow managed to thank a post more than once

Worth 20 Beatles Bible points.

And of course, the first post I manage to thank more than once was this one…

Eh? Jeez, you get around, don’t you, trc? I thought your ex and HKL were the only ones, and I never assumed they’d coexist…

Ahhh Mom and I were at IHOP this morning eating breakfast. A lady in a nearby booth was wearing some pretty earrings. They kept catching my eye. When the lady walked by our table when she was leaving, I told her that I thought her earrings were really pretty. She asked me if I wanted them. She said she wasn’t all that attached to them. She took them off and handed them to me and said “Merry Christmas” and gave me a kiss on the top of my head. a-hard-days-night-ringo-10

A very merry Beatles Christmas to our Australian forumpudlians. Hope your day is full of great cheer.

The Ahhh family has Christmas breakfast around 11 am on Christmas day. One of the Ahhh cousins makes a to-die-for breakfast casserole.

You’ll just have to wait till tomorrow for the rest of us to catch up (catchup, super fury, don’t get left behind) and post our Crimbletide greetings*. heartheartheart

And what would be McCartney’s worst recording (I have a few in mind, but perhaps not very Christmassy to discuss negatives)?

The most I’ve seen was 4, and that was once, it was Silly Girl a couple of days ago.  It’s really just a glitch that shouldn’t exist, but it does, so why not have fun with it.

And before you ask, I have no idea how that happened. Usually I can only thank once, occasionally twice. Of anyone, @WeepingAtlasCedars is our champion of multi-thankers, routinely thanking twice and often three times. john-lennon-salute_gif

The Silly family just finished wrapping presents. Generated much more excitement and mess than it did neat little packages, but all in good fun.

I didn’t truly get into the Christmas spirit until a few days ago, when I realised I hadn’t any presents for the family and started frantically crocheting… until then I’d only been thinking of what I might get. Giving brings me more joy than receiving, I think (not that I’m oh so generous and selfless or anything; I’m quite selfish, but I selfishly like to see people’s faces when I give them things). heart
