Tree is up

I saw this in my newsfeed by the Today Show: “All I want For Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey no longer number #1 Christmas song its….

Excuse me…., but no. It’s not the worst Beatles/Paul cover, but no. Why would this be the #1? The orginal was better. Not to mention there are plenty of better Christmas songs out there besides that one.

I’m wearing a Christmas shirt and Christmas earrings that dangle. Ah, they are so pretty!

His voice sounds pinched.

I’ve never heard this on the radio (I hear Paul’s and that’s it). I’m not even honestly that much of a fan of this song in the first place. I don’t know how a cover of this song is the most popular…. You’d think it’d be some Pentatonix song or something.

EDIT: Who am I kidding? I like this song. It’s about a choir and Paul McCartney sings it. Paul McCartney also sings it.

One of my co-workers put candy canes in our mailboxes. Now to see if I have the patience to suck on the long end and get it to a very sharp point. Ah, Christmas traditions.

It’s official – all my Christmas shopping is done.

Only 374 shopping days before Christmas 2016!

I can’t believe that it’s less than ten days until Christmas. It doesn’t feel like it. Maybe it’s the lack of snow.

You’ve never celebrated Christmas in the South, then? a-hard-days-night-john-6

Down here, white Christmases are the stuff of children’s day-dreams. But it does generally get colder than this–they are predicting 70 degrees Fahrenheit on Christmas Eve! Criminal! What is this, Hawaii? a-hard-days-night-paul-3

I might a bit Christmassy if it snowed, instead it feels like it was the coming up to Halloween.

It’s funny – when we lived in Arizona, the lack of snow made no difference in how Christmas felt. Now that we are in the Northeast again, it seems strange to have no snow at Christmas. This past Sunday it was 71F. On Christmas eve the forecast is for 69F. Our wind pattern is coming up from the land of @Beatlebug .

Send Beatley thoughts on the breeze, SG! a-hard-days-night-ringo-13

For me, it definitely isn’t. Snow in my area usually doesn’t come until January. Maybe it’s the fact that most people suddenly don’t care and lives get hectic ’round X-Mas time, and they forget

The UK is having the warmest December in nearly a century. Seems much of the Northern hemisphere is having a weird December.

Looking at e-cards to send to relatives who wont get them before Christmas day. Some are not appropriate to send but very funny.

@meanmistermustard I’m sure a lot of people wish they could send cards like this to their relatives and still feel safe in their homes.

I dont care about getting Christmas cards and my immediate family don’t care either – we’re a strange bunch as so much of the normal things that interest people completely bypass us and remain mysteries.

I went Christmas shopping today. It was so boring. Have all shops decided that to make people spend more they are going to redesign their store layouts so you can’t find the exits?

How on earth do you wrap a stuffed cuddly toy when its not in a box?
