Offline We’ve got to get the forum a christmas present as well?!! No chance. I still have to make sausage rolls and mince pies and wrap the presents i have bought.

Happy Christmas all! It’s 12.27am Christmas morning. My 1yo daughter has a fever and is still awake, my son was rattling off the walls with excitement earlier about Santa Claus coming, so we’ll probably be up at about 6am to unwrap presents. Let’s hope the hangover isn’t too bad. Have a great day, wherever you are x

Got two Beatles books, I Want To Tell You and Revolution In The Head, and some Beatles plates.
Non Beatles realm: Steven Wilson’s 2009 remix of King Crimson’s In The Court Of The Crimson King , Rush’s Snakes & Arrows, Green Day’s Insomniac, Dream Theater’s Images and Words, all on CD. Jack White’s Lazaretto “Ultra LP” on vinyl, a Protomen shirt, some clothes, and A World Of Ice And Fire, the official companion to A Song Of Ice And Fire, which is absolutely gigantic and will take me approximately 10 years to get through.
What did you guys get? Any good Beatle-y things? Non-Beatley?

Two Beatlely gifts: Rubber Soul on vinyl from the hubby and the Beatleology book from my parents. Total surprise because I didn’t think I was getting any Beatles gifts this year.
Several non Beatles gifts:
Fashion jewelry from my mother-in-law and sister in-law, nail/hand kit and gift card from my brother-in-law, a necklace from my hubby, Ghostbusters 1 & 2 blu ray (shared gift, my husband got with in his gift cards), and my grandma’s minivan (because she can no longer drive nor live alone). Bought Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds perfume and some holiday body wash with the gift card.

A personalized book. My cousin’s wife took the some of the pictures I put on Facebook while in Greece and Italy and made them into a personalized hardbound book. So cool. She gave a copy of it to my mom also.
Tires and rims for my car.
Now a story from the festivities:
The young teenage son of one of my cousins saw me opening my Beatles stuff. He asked if I was a Beatles fan. I said yes. He started singing “I Am The Walrus . Goo goo g’ joob.” YES!!!! Hold on, there more to the story. My cousin (yes, the mother of that young teen) and her stepmother didn’t hear him singing that to me. Later in the day, her stepmother said that my cousin had lost all her Beatles vinyls years ago when she was a teenager. My cousin overheard her and replied, “No, I didn’t lose them. I still have everyone of them.” Woohoo, I shall have to spend some time with my cousin and her kid.
