And not just the girl groups. Bob B Soxx is on that album, and Phil even has a cameo on Silent Night. Good record. Did you know Apple once reissued it?
I did not know that. The pictures I posted above were from Google. I rushed back to Amazon to see if the copy I ordered was on Apple, but it was released by Sony Legacy.
I heard Phil’s cameo on the snippet samples provided by Amazon. I can’t wait to get this. I also ordered a CD with X-mas songs performed by various Blues artists. It’s gonna be another rockin’ holiday season in the Zig household.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

No way! I should have had snow on Friday. Hopefully It'll snow in time for Crimbo. I envy those who live in Scotland right now.

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

I promise not to literally explode of overeating. What a horrible way to die.
Just don't be tempted by the wafer thin mint.
You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

I'm not joking when I cried with the first song of this video.
This happened in Monterrey. Honestly, I literally cried. They couldn't find a better song for this.
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…

I will admit i was misty eyed watching that vid Mith. A fantastic video and the joy on peoples faces!. There is something very powerful when people come together for whatever reason and music is so good at doing that. For all the talk about Johns Happy Xmas being a poor song, not just here, it does have an ability to bring people together even for just a few minutes. And i do believe that most war, violence and all that could be over if people were willing. But there are very wounded, hurt and angry people out there, whether rightly or wrongly.
Was listening to a non-christmas song earlier today which reminded me that for many people Christmas is not the time of joy and happiness that is portrayed by the masses, for reasons that dont need to be listed. So wherever you are, whatever you do, whether you celebrate christmas or not, i hope that happiness, joy and love finds you.
And thats my sentimental side over.

Ah, so what did people get this fine Christmas? I got a 4th generation 32 GB (without a cracked screen like my last one) IPod (YAY), some music, some clothes, books, etc. Nothing all that Beatley. Oh wait… I forgot the YS ornament.

I didn't get anything Beatley either, although my friends and I are doing a gift exchange tomorrow, so I'm not certain yet. I got a lot of nice things, including a full set of Harry Potter books to replace the old, wrinkly, falling-apart-at-the-seams, chewed-on-by-my-dog set. I also recieved a pink and black striped pair of long underwear. I plan to return this to the store as soon as possible.
Sun King , my godfather also has a yellow submarine ornament.
I won't be back till after the new year, I'm going to Utah to visit my best friend, who moved out West over the summer. I haven't seen her since she left, so I'm really excited.
Merry belated Christmas, and happy early new year, to everybody here.

The only thing remotely Beatley I got was the Rolling Stone rock trivia book, which presumably has lotsa Beatle-related questions. [checks book quickly] In fact, now that I look at it, the huge headline on the introduction page reads…
Paul McCartney 's Sheepdog
…unadorned, in huge lettering which the html fomatting here can't reproduce properly, as far as i can see. But now that xmas shopping is over, I can start buying for myself all those Beatles books that I need! And the Anthology DVD, and etc.
