The Magic Christian has a good soundtrack. Not only are Badfinger’s songs epic, but the incidental music for the film is quite intriguing and exciting.

Ry Cooder’s Paris Texas is one of my fav. Not only the main theme but all the other stuff as well. I love the scene where they are watching an old 8mm film and Canción Mixteca sounds in the background. Beautiful.

Also, Nino Rota’s soundtracks for Fellini’s films. Amarcord, 8 1/2, La estrada… it’s a win win.

Zabriskie Point?

…Hmmm, maybe not.

My favourite non-Beatles soundtrack ever has to be Obscured By Clouds because it works perfectly well as a proper album.
