Sure! I love their early albums , specially tigermilk and the boy with the arab strap. Then i also lost interest in their stuff only listening to their new releases from time to time… The life pursuit was the last thing i listened from them
Same here…I bought the first two singles from that album and then stopped listening, which is funny because I read recently that the third single, White Collar Boy, which I didn’t buy, was the first single to not make the top 40 since Lazy Line Painter Jane.
I’m listening to their newer stuff now, and I’m enjoying it. I don’t know if the time wasn’t right for them ten years ago, or if I just got overexposed to them or what. Or maybe my expectations of what they should sound like are gone now.

I’ve been listening to it and well…i think i don’t like it. I must give it another listen but i don’t like the kind of 70’s disco-pop feeling to which they have evolved, being that the main reason why i stopped listening to them.
The problem that most bands face is that if they have a very distinctive style, people expect them to stick to that style. But if they don’t experiment, then people criticize them for not experimenting. It’s a lose-lose scenario.
Personally, I really like the new album. But I came to it without any expectations. I had already written them off. Now I’m really enjoying them again.
@meanmistermustard, if you are interested in learning about them I would check out If You’re Feeling Sinister, Push Barman to Open Old Wounds, or The Boy with the Arab Strap.

I understand that bands have to evolve. They have to grow as artists and such. I like experimantation and i like when bands take risks. I jut don’t like too much that disco felling that they have nowadays. I’m not much into disco, anyways.
I don’t blame them, it’s just that i don’t like what they are offering.
