I thought Anna was playing the drums and Linde was on noseflute?
And i see that my offer of Yoko inspired vocals has been quietly passed over? You dont know what real music is.
Ill need your audition please MMM… remember to channel your inner dying goat!
MrMoonlight Honey Pie might be good for your voice. We’ll see how things go.
And Bulldog like you said, just audition when you have a proper recording device.
Could (which means will) be a while, hope there isn’t a set recording date (of course, if there is, I guess I’m out if I still haven’t sent a PM with an audition). I’ve been doing some research about cheap but decent–good mics. (Which means reading reviews on Amazon.)

@Bulldog @Starr Shine? Whn I was buying a mic it was really hard to find anything below $50 that wasn’t a piece of crap. But at $50 is the Blue Snowball which I have and always recommend! It’s a great mic.
Hope you can both figure something out.

Good idea. And All Together Now if we ever do that, and maybe Bungalow Bill, and perhaps also Carry That Weight (or we’ll at least get four people to sing that.)

Sure, why not? (Of course, I’m not making all these decisions, just joining in the suggestions.)

I’ve just found a thread from years back which has discussion on getting together a Beatles bible band (post 8 onwards), its the same thread that contains the infamous post of Mr Big’s that vonbontee occassionally alludes to.

^ Well, the “song title” is the Declaration of Independence, I get that. If there’s another joke in there I don’t see it.
EDIT: And yeah, its length is literally no time, as mmm said.

He was obviously influenced by his supposed collaborators/”colleagues” in Bull of Heaven, whose recordings theoretically last hours or conceptually even MILLENIA!

If we want this to work out, we should probably start doing something. Once again, I’m not sure if it’ll work, so we’re going to need a test run, for which I have suggested the White Album singles.
MrMoonlight had a wonderful idea here.

So this part involves no audition, just record yourself singing and PM me so we can figure out how to send it. I might make an email account just for BB band submissions and post it here.
Make sure you are listening to the song on headphones while you’re singing if you can, so everyone will all be in sync.
Another thought, since its going to be part straight covers, part interpretations, would be to try and cover Revolution 9 as closely as possible because that would be pretty impressive. So please pick a random phrase or noise from it and try and duplicate it and send it along.
Any questions PM me. I’ll make that email account now.

@Starr Shine? has been the first wonderful person to send some singing!
I’ll start a backing track as soon as possible and hope you all send more voices!
Anna, do you think you could handle the drums on this one?

What song is it?? @Mr. Kite
And yay, Anna! did you get a decent mic? I still haven’t got one, but my laptop mic is actually not THAT bad… only problem is you can always hear clicking noises in the recordings (I’ve made a few), the sound of the laptop itself running.

@Bulldog Hey Jude . We’re doin’ Moonlight’s idea to include as many people as possible on the coda. Look at post 92.
If you want to send some vocals, I’m pretty sure the clicking wont be noticed once there are enough different voices.

I got a snowball one and you can edit out the extra noise with audacity
