Me, I did rather a lot of stuff, which I feel a little guilty about. But without the support and encouragement from the BBer contingent, it might have remained just an idea. 
@Beatlebug I echo @Getbackintheussr (and thanks for the kind words about the kazoo, I think it’s a little cheesy but that’s my sense of humour), your only limitation is technology, your vocal performance is great! I added a touch of chorus and reverb to it and pulled it a little back in the mix and I think it comes across well.
I actually think the tambourine has added a touch of class

I have no idea, I think that one’s finished. But the door is always open for redo’s if people desire it.
Does anyone have a brilliant plan to start a new project? If so, do a track but please please include a click track for reference. I for one would love to hear some @Beatlebug guitar on a thing!

I would say it is, yes. The first post needs to be updated to talk about EGSTHEMAMM and now Helter Skelter – if no one else does a write up, I’m more than happy when I get home from school.

Good idea! Peppdog did some lyrics which I turned into a song way back, then there’s also some WeepyC did iirc, and who can forget Zig It… There’s also a thread called Beatles Bible Theme Song I think.
But there’s nothing like a 4th song?

Zig It would be fun but it’s a big vocal job! I don’t even know how to pronounce half BB’ers names (mentally its kind of a messy blur when i see names).

I’ll likely get some time to record drums next week – school holidays start 6 April, so I can’t record drums for the two weeks after, and I’ve got a fair bit of work this week so we’ll see how I go.

Is this separate to the original? If so, I can do drums for that at the same time – but I’d need some sort of idea for how long to do that pattern for (a minute? there’s a lot of ‘Zig It’s at the end!)
Serious question: what sort of thing do we want? Short? Long? Heavy? Light? 4/4? Fast? Slow? Complicated? Simple? etc….
What form? A sections? B sections? Contrasting sections? What sort of things do we want?

Offline Yes, Zig It should be attempted and if you can do both at the same time, great. Do 4 or 5 minutes with Zig It to be on the safe side (which is pretty much how Spector dealt with the very long original). As for the keyboards I was just hoping someone can contribute that to it because its so essential to the groove.
As for the original, try a few things out, there’s really no preferences, start with what you did with the lyrics and go from there!

Offline @The Hole Got Fixed I noticed our cover of Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band isn’t on page 1. I know it isn’t part of the canon in the same way that these other 3 are but it was recorded solely for inclusion within this thread so it seems fair to include it.
Besides that, everything else looks great and i can’t wait to see what’s next.
