Oh man this place looks so cool!If we’re talking about our dream rooms…I’d paint mine with a yellow submarine design on one wall, all the others covered in Beatles posters, pictures and I’d have to take my photo collage my friend made me of our school years. Bright and happy. (All my life I’ve had pale purple walls and I’m getting sick of it.) A lovely big comfy bed with a Beatles bedspread obviously! Lots of shelves and bookcases for all my books, CD’s and records. A desk for my Laptop, tablet and record player, which is a replica 70’s style player I saw in an electricals shop once. Also since I like drawing (even if I do it badly) sketchbooks and pencils. A telly with my ps2, SNES, Wii and Blu Ray player. All my DVDs, Blu Rays and games. Ohhh! I’d love a drum kit!
Ooooh, sounds lovely! I like it.
A few questions:
Would there be a sort of tutoring system where people who can play instruments tutor willing students?
I don’t know about the others, but I love teaching people. Anyone wanna play guitar? Willing teachers will tutor willing students, I suppose.
I saw Beatles Rock Band mentioned, can we have little tournaments and stuff?
I don’t see why not.
What about non-Beatley activities? I’d love to have a horse and do showjumping. Anyone want to go with me?
Would the horse be named Henry?
How about theatre? Putting on plays and musicals and stuff? Or even making our own movies-could you picture that? (pssst I’m a REALLY GOOD director. )
HECK YEAH!!!!! Love it! (Psst: I’m a really good actor. And your bird (that’s me) can sing.)
Education? Do we get degrees from a BB university? What degrees would be available?
I have a PhD. in Beatlemaniology, would that work?
What about visitors? Other Beatlemaniac friends who aren’t members of BB (I have a few.) Can they visit?
I think they have to be approved by the mods or something. But if they’re Beatlemaniac enough, we’ll let ’em in.
What about trips/holidays to Liverpool/Paul gigs/Ringo gigs/ back in time to Beatles gigs?
But of course!
Also I’m really good at baking/making sweets (or candy) if anyone would be interested in such things. (Please note if you would need vegetarian/vegan alternatives.)
In fact I think I’ll get a little tea shop set up.
I think @meanmistermustard is in charge of tea, but the baking and candy sounds lovely! You could have a whole section on Savoy Truffles. Ooooo……
First things first tea infuser…
It’s fab gear!
And how about this teapot and cup?
YES!
Now you’ve really got the brain-cogs whirling

I don’t think it would be structured I think you could just ask people if they wanna teach you.
I saw Beatles Rock Band mentioned, can we have little tournaments and stuff?
Sure! I had a thought of trying to play the instruments parts according to the personal.
What about non-Beatley activities? I’d love to have a horse and do showjumping. Anyone want to go with me?
Sure! We can bring some non Beatles stuff.
How about theatre? Putting on plays and musicals and stuff? Or even making our own movies-could you picture that? (pssst I’m a REALLY GOOD director. )
Sure we could do that. We have a movie theater where we show Beatles movies every Wednesday. (I’m an aspiring actor with experience working back and front stage)
Education? Do we get degrees from a BB university? What degrees would be available?
We could have some education if some users are willing to teach. I would ask the teachers on what degree they wanna give.
What about visitors? Other Beatlemaniac friends who aren’t members of BB (I have a few.) Can they visit?
I say no. The only exception is for Beatles members and Beatles related people. So your friends can’t visit unless they are part of a near by forum. If they join they can live there.
What about trips/holidays to Liverpool/Paul gigs/Ringo gigs/ back in time to Beatles gigs?
I am not sure. My impression is that we are stuck there.
Also I’m really good at baking/making sweets (or candy) if anyone would be interested in such things. (Please note if you would need vegetarian/vegan alternatives.)
Depends on what kinda sweets you make
And how about this teapot and cup?
I’m not a tea person.

I wouldn’t mind a cup if the kettle’s on, thanks. I bought milk but someone else will have to get sugar if they take it. Gonna lie down and read my book…Hmm, I see all the beds are occupied.
That means I get to sleep in the hammock! : D

I’m in charge of ensuring there is an ample supply of Tetley tea but after that its whoever wants a cup of tea offers everyone else as well when they are about to make it.
And this tea shop, will we be getting charged because i can get my own teabags and make it myself for far less? I’m not called mean for no reason.

Has anyone seen the scissors? Someone forgot to put them back in the drawer where they belong?
Also, does anyone else want to order pizza delivery tonight? If so, what toppings do you want?

I don’t know about the scissors (If you stole them, remember not to run with them!)
For pizza get a thick crust pizza with cheese topped with extra cheese!

If so then whatever the hell everyone else is having, pizza is pizza.

Sounds fab! I’m supposed to be taking French for high school and Irish sounds fun. And in return, I’ll teach “Approximating the Beatles on One Acoustic Guitar (For Beginners)”. And other notable courses, such as “Ear Training For Dummies Beatlemaniacs” and “Tuning Your Guitar To Rubber Soul , Not Abbey Road “.
I’ve been eyeing the rooftop a lot lately, and I think it could use some more posters of George and Dhani. I’m going to order a few nice prints, anyone want to chip in? I’ll pay the majority– one from you, nineteen from me.

This is the longest wait for pizza ever. How long does it take for the Pizza man to drive to the Beatles Bible island house?

I thinl it is time for some new kitchen curtains. Anyone have a color or pattern they want to suggest?
And don’t forget, it is Spring Cleaning week. Tidy up your rooms. If there are things you have that are still in good condition but you just don’t want them anymore, post a picture and see if anyone else wants them.

Anybody who wants to clean my room can take anything they want!
And as for the curtains, I favour some garish ’70s colour scheme, like purple and orange. But I doubt anybody would second that.
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

I thought rooms weren’t going to be inspected? I’m not even sure what color the floor is in my room.

No inspections will take place unless the stink becomes noticeable and/or bugs start coming out from under your doorway. The reminder was just my way of hoping to nudge some folks to do a little cleaning.
@Von Bontee, would one of these work?

As for kitchen curtains, I think we should use a fabric inspired by the Beatles’ Pepper-era psychedelic threads. Or even better, a pattern with sandwiches, cake, cheeses, etc. on it. That way, if anyone comes down for a midnight snack, they’ll end up feasting their eyes on the curtains instead, and they won’t eat up all the pizza ingredients @Ahhh Girl and I hid in the freezer for @Starr Shine?’s surprise.
Oh $%^&….

I just cleared my desk next to the window that looks out over the English garden, and I found the following items I didn’t even know I had:
- 1.5 erasers
- 12 guitar picks
- 6 coloured pencils
- 5.23 broken graphite sticks for mechanical pencil
- 7 assorted greeting cards from long ago
- 8 assorted tear-off calendar pages with doodles of guitars and s on the backs
- 19 various paper scraps
- 5 discarded guitar strings
- Assorted rubbish
- Loads of dust
and looking ever the list, I think I’d better take @Ahhh Girl’s advice and start spring-cleaning my room. I have to keep the Beatles CD cases, but the odd socks and empty teacups can go to whoever will wash them.
