Yeah, I’m not really sure about that. Half of what I say is meaningless.

Whenever @Joe posts on a mundane topic, it feels like Zeus coming down from Olympus to interact with us mere mortals.
Me too!!!
@georgiewood, it’s Wednesday and I’m still at Candlestick.

@Joe is just a mere mortal like the rest of us, we have agreed and disagreed on many things (as I’m sure he could tell you). The really good thing with Joe is that he manages to tolerate the parts of the forum he doesn’t really like, and that – as anyone who’s had direct contact with him would say – he’s an incredibly friendly guy who had a great idea. And that’s why we’re all here!

I wouldn’t say I’m incredibly friendly, but I try to keep silent when I’m in a bad mood. Fortunately this place doesn’t make me mad very often – it’s my refuge from the bad stuff.

*Sigh* I miss Silly Girl, she was so…well…silly. I really don’t know anything about Cailin Amaideach. Is that, like, a real thing?

Mr. KiteI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

Would anyone object if I folded this thread into the impossible-to-derail one? It seems to have lost its way a little (my fault for being Zeus, sorry).

Oh, @georgiewood. *sigh*
“Cailin Amaideach” is Irish for “Silly Girl”, and although “Cailin Amaideach” looks dreadfully serious, trust me, it’s just as silly as English.
And it isn’t St Patrick’s Day anymore, so I’m re-Anglicised.
