Apart from a few teenies, there aren’t many I would want dead just for the sake of it. Okay, give me 24 hours… I’m sure I can come up with a list I don’t want to see live. We can hunt them down over the next few months… Rush! I suggested them elsewhere I think!Oh c’mon now! Rush is a good band.
Who I would like to see
Paul
Elton John
The Rolling Stones
Metallica
The Who
Eric Clapton
Black Sabbath
Notice they don’t make your list!
And they beat Paul for two awards! Locked and loaded! Where do I aim!
Just because they didn’t the make list, doesn’t mean I don’t like them. I listen to several artists that are not on that list .
So, they beat Paul on two of those polls. It was fair game and its not like the polls mean anything anyways. You going to hunt down Aerosmith too?

What, you didn’t like George Burns’ graceful, elegant rendition of “Fixing A Hole ?”
… yeah, maybe you’re right. Actually, Steven Tyler convinced the producers that if he had to die in the movie, then Strawberry Fields had to die, too. (So he says.) Dave Marsh once said that it’s humanely impossible to watch the whole movie in one sitting. Well, I tried watching the film in one sitting, made it 3/4 of the way through and finally tapped out. It was all too much for me to take.

I’ve never seen it and do not want to see it because of how awful it is.
The closest thing I will get to that is a review I’ve seen of it online bashing it. From clips I have seen…..And people talk about Across The Universe being bad. No, this is the epitome of bad!

Paul and Ringo both touring.
Jack White is touring (too bad I didn’t get tickets for the Pittsburgh show)
Boston and Cheap Trick are touring together (ditto)
Springsteen is touring I believe.

I was supposed to see Chic featuring Nile Rodgers with Giorgio Moroder at the Hollywood Bowl, but I woke up this morning to an email from Ticketmaster that the concert was cancelled. Someone said it was due to poor ticket sales, but I also saw Nile mentioning how sick he is, and he had been battling cancer.
That’ll make the second time in a year I could have seen him and didn’t, as he was at Outside Lands on a stage on the opposite end of the field of Paul. One day, hopefully. Sending healing vibes his way.

Oh no, that’s terrible.
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Woah, that’s really horrible!
Strange too, over here they usually announce it the other way around. They make up some excuse about being sick (but then it’s usually not cancer of course) when in fact it reall is due to poor ticket sales.
Anyway,
Going to see the Stones and Metallica live within a few months. Should be fun.
