George Harrison – George Harrison (1979)
Got this at £6, which was rather cheap. Two albums I also saw but didn’t buy while in the record shop were The Small Faces album Playmates (1977) (I really wanted to get this one, as it said it was a rare US version of the album, but heigh-ho, I didn’t have enough.) And also Pink Floyd’s Animals (1977) (yet again, not enough money).

Just bought the Velvet Underground And Nico on CD, but I can’t listen to it until I borrow a disc drive from my friend Matthew.
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Well, I bought two albums I said I would!
The Beach Boys – 15 Big Ones (1976) (amazing condition! Have yet to play it, but the inside collage is quite cool. )
Small Faces – Playmates (1977) (the rare US version I was talking about. Something I learnt today is that the Ringo song Tonight (from his Bad Boy album) was written by Ian McLagan of Small Faces, and his original version is featured on Playmates.)
I thought I should mention I almost bought the single for Paul’s Coming Up , but had to put it back as it went over how much I had.
