Found two of the Spinners albums on cassette;
Best Of and It’s A Shame.
William Shears Campbell, if you want to get some cheap(er) records, you can check out the thrift stores near you. They usually have some classic rock records. (Not too many though.)

This place I’ve been going to does have some pretty cheap records, but I will have to check out a thrift shop, now that you’ve told me that. Maybe I’ll do it this week.

@William Shears Campbell promised
This will probably be the last vinyl I buy for at least a month, so I don’t go crazy and buy a bunch. I need to pace myself, buying things costs money.
Welp, that lasted all of 4 days. I went over to the vinyl store again today, because last time I was over there the owner said he would take a look at possibly repairing the loop scratch on my RAM vinyl. Well he tried, and unfortunately I took it home and tried it and it wasn’t fixed, but he said he said I could trade my copy in for a different copy of RAM if I wanted… I may do that.
Anyway while I was there I saw Billy Joel’s Turnstiles for $4 and said “what the heck”. So now I’ve bought my third vinyl.
[promise I made after I bought my second vinyl restated]
I legitly almost bought only disc 2 of the 1987 White Album CD remaster for like $4 because The Beatles, also that slight track cut difference between Cry Baby Cry and Revolution 9 .
Also I may have purchased this….
It actually was the only Beatles CD he had, apart from Anthology 1 and some rare interview CD.
It’s so funny, most of the things in the store are second hand, so that means because this CD is part of this set
that means that someone either sold the store only disc 2 of The Beatles, they sold both discs, and someone only bought disc 1. Either way, I find it kinda humorous.
I also flirted with the idea of buying Cloud Nine for $5, or a No More Lonely Nights 45 for $4.

The problem with Disc 2 is that there is over 8 minutes wasted with self-indulgence by John Lennon .

I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Still, it is hands-down my least favourite track. Closely followed by You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)!
Thats one of my favorites!

Just bought Transmissions From The Satellite Heart by the Flaming Lips the other day. Damn, that’s a great album!I’ve had Yoshimi for quite a while and I love that album too, so I’ll try The Soft Bulletin next.
I also got Anodyne by Uncle Tupelo. Being a huge Wilco fan, I had really high expectations, but it really didn’t impress me much at all. Maybe it’s one of those things where I just need to spin it a few times
Finally, I found a copy of Yes’s Tales From Topographic Oceans on vinyl for a really great price. It’s a bit much to digest, seeing as it’s comprised of 4 sides with a single, 20-ish minute song on each, but I thought it was really good overall.
Grooving some cookie spaghetti since 1968.

And Your Bird Can Sing Love this one! This is probably in my top 10. I Am The Walrus This used to be my favorite when I was younger. I still quite enjoy this one Strawberry Fields Forever Proof that I’m the real Paul McCartney . How could I hate this one Hey Bulldog Interesting lyrics. i quite enjoy it. Fixing A Hole I like this one, but I think i underrate it. I don’t give it enough listens. Nowhere Man Used to be one of my absolute favorites as a small child. I like this one. Baby You’re A Rich Man This one is quite enjoyable Getting Better A very inspiring song. I Want To Tell You I was obsessed with this one for a bit when I was in middle school and there was a girl I couldn’t talk to. Helter Skelter Of course I love this one. It’s 1/30 of the great masterpiece that is The Beatles

I was gifted Wings At The Speed Of Sound in a secret Santa (which was a nice gesture, but i was slightly offended that a person would assume such a large gap in my Wings collection).
Anyway, I traded in the album still in shrink wrap for Neil Young and After the Gold Rush.

Wheels of Fire (1968)
Goodbye (1969)
Live Cream (1970)
Live Cream Volume II (1972)
I already have original copies of each, but it’s good to have new copies so I don’t have to worry about ruining my original copies.

More Jack Than Blues – Jack Bruce (2006, reissued 2016)

I received the re-mastered Revolver on vinyl. I’ve been given several pieces of vinyl over the past few years. Now I guess I’ll have to invest in a turntable. I sold mine years ago when I replaced just about all of my records with CD’s and MP3’s. Backwards, ho!
