I bought The Four Freshmen and Five Trombones, which is the album that inspired Brian Wilson to create music.

Haha I knew of the freshmen but never heard of “the 5 trombones”…had to Google. I didn’t realize you were referring to an album title as opposed to two different groups!

Found 5 solo Beatles’ albums:
Venus And Mars . (came with a bookmark and two posters)
Ringo’s Rotogravure. (I figured I could give it a try. It’ll probably end up in the back of my closet, though.)
All for 3 bucks a piece.

If that happens, it’ll probably make @trcanberra sad.

Indeed @William Shears Campbell – some nice tunes; not one of his best but pleasant enough – and an AMAZING cover 😉

I bought some Beatles albums and singles. I took pictures as soon as I got home because I just had to . I had a great deal of luck with the Please Please Me album because it’s in the greatest condition despite being one of the earliest first pressings. The Canadian one, I didn’t know there should have been a booklet inside but, nevermind. I’ll be wiser next time =w=

I was hoping to walk home with a Beatles album today, but the Beatles collection at that shop was so high priced.

I just bought my first vinyl ever.Edit: It’s in really decent condition except for a loop in the middle of “Back Seat Of My Car”
WOOT WOOT As I’m sure you know, I have that very LP myself (the last track is fine though, no looping. Are you sure it’s not just the song, it does feel like it goes on forever sometimes ).
That photo wouldn’t happen to have been taken in the Back Seat Of Your Car, would it now?

That, my friend, is called ‘Beatles Inflation’. It happens here, there, and everywhere.
I got:
Animals – Pink Floyd (PF original albums are super hard to find around here).
Elton John – Elton John (The inferior UNI pressing).
Middle Of Nowhere – Hanson (Has a few cracks in the case).

While BSOMC does seem to go on forever, it is actually a scratch to where it loops, which makes me a little sad becauxs I do love that song.
Actually the photo was taken in the passenger seat of my car. I actually thought about taking it in the back seat, but then I decided that was too much work.

Same here. I bought my first Beatles album at a shop this year and it costed more than the vinyls I got at the vinyl fair, or whatever it’s called in English. Most of the stuff there is quite cheap. Please Please Me was the only one that costed me more but always less than the price some eBay sellers put up, especially if you’re looking for the B&G Stereo ._. It went up to 22000 dollars.. I could be wrong but I would expect such a price for a signed album, although I couldn’t possibly afford it lol Apparently there has to be some buyers who can pay that price though, otherwise it wouldn’t be there.
Long Live The Beatles!

Beatles albums shouldn’t even be expensive, since all their records sold like a bazillion copies.
Sixty-five million in the past twenty-five years alone.

I went to the Vinyl store and bought my second vinyl, Band On The Run (US) for a descent price.
I’ve bought 2 McCartney albums because I’m a poor teenager, and that’s whats the cheapest there.
I legitly almost bought only disc 2 of the 1987 White Album CD remaster for like $4 because The Beatles, also that slight track cut difference between Cry Baby Cry and Revolution 9 .
This will probably be the last vinyl I buy for at least a month, so I don’t go crazy and buy a bunch. I need to pace myself, buying things costs money.
Edit: The quality isn’t as good as Ram was, but there weren’t any loop scratches. It was still quite enjoyable! In the words of Terry Draper, “If a record isn’t scratched and have some pop spilled on it, it just doesn’t sound right to me”
