I dont want Apple to take me anywhere; they’d tell me we were going to some lovely place full of tweeting birds and lovely food and drink only to find out when we got there it was a Marks and Spencers cafe with an outdoors seating area and it had run out of bacon.

Offline I know very well, if they release albums like Rubber Soul & others with centered vocals in stereo (like in Beatles 1), that I will be ponying up the cash to Apple.

Offline I bought a 12 CD set of Eugene Ormandy conducting a bunch of Tchaikovsky music, including all the symphonies and a completion of one he didn’t finish. Only AU$25 delivered – and it pretty much completes my “core” classical collection. Hopefully I can now focus on listening more than buying …
… and saving up for that Elvis set @Expert Textpert thinks I should buy 😉

Offline I bought Wild Life (by Wings) about a week ago and I’ve listened to it about six times since then– not one of Paul’s best albums but like most of his stuff, it’s still very enjoyable. 
Some People Never Know, Wild Life , Tomorrow and Dear Friend are me favourites at the moment (although that’s already half of the album).

Offline ^ Nice. I like that Beach Boys album. Before I bought them all I had heard some awful things about their first few albums – but actually enjoyed them quite a bit.
I’ve been online ordering a few (classical ha ha) CDs. I had a few which were in a pile to be moved but the pile got moved to who knows where and this is the last (I think) of the ones I wanted which went walkabout. Some Balakirev, Bernstein and Purcell.

Offline I went to a record fair a few days ago and found myself with 2 LPs!
The first was German copy of Revolver that I though was really cool. The second was a pressing of Sgt. Pepper with, surprisingly enough, grayish/pink marbled vinyl that I very lovingly named Billy. A cute name, isn’t it?
