So I had one of those dreams where you start in one place and finish somewhere else last night, but the section of the dream set in my grandparent’s living room contained @The Hippie Chick (who didn’t resemble real life The Hippie Chick at all!), @SgtPeppersBulldog (and boy… if in real life you look like what you did in my dream, you should take up modelling Peppdog… geez!!), a new BBer whom I didn’t know, and someone from school. We were playing a card game, and the only detail I remember is that Peppdog made a really good joke
My head..

Hey, BB likewise made a brief cameo in a dream of mine two nights ago! I’d glanced into a room (presumably her room in the Beatlesbible House) and she was sitting on the bed, engrossed, with laptop and headphones. The complete dialogue:
VB (inquiring): “A.R.M.S. Benefit?”
BB (nodding without looking up) “A.R.M.S. Benefit.”
And that’s it! Dunno why she was interested in that particular 1983 Jimmy Page performance, as reviews were decidedly mixed.

@vonbontee Well, I’ll have to check it out now that you’ve mentioned it. Was that the one where he completely utterly butchered his solo on Stairway to Heaven with Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton looking on and trying not to laugh/cringe for his sake?
Also, mixed reviews would make me more interested in something rather than less, as I’d want to decide for myself.
Also also, I’m curious, what did I look like in your dream? (Gotta know these things )

That’s the very same performance! I believe he also did an early version of “Midnight Moonlight” from The Firm’s debut. I’ve never watched the perf myself, nor listened since hearing radio highlights in 1984; I’d seen the concerts referenced in the Keith Moon bio I just finished, which is probably why my brain dredged them up.
And I can’t recall anything about your appearance atall, sorry. (Nothing off-putting, dont worry!) But you looked *human*, not like a pencil-sketched “Heroes” pose…

(fwiw, we both said “arms” – me typing the whole acronym was a formality)
Well, I just copied what you wrote. I figured we would say ‘arms’.

Girl, you need to state you’re talking about the US.
I was thinking, ‘what’s this hipster doing calling Jerusalem, ‘Zion’? And what is she doing in Israel???’
For all of us uneducated folk, this Zion is in Utah.
I’m watching Judge Judy at the minute (I aspire to be like JJ, she is an icon), the strung-out alcoholic defendant said he’s from Hamburg, no not ‘that’ Hamburg, Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
Darn German emigrants naming their new home after their old town, 200+ years ago *shakes fist*.

I was listening to the Beatles podcast ‘Nothing Is Real’, when I was in Cologne. I was sitting on the train going over the bridge back to the city centre and they were talking about Beatle books. One of the last books they recommended was a book by Joe Goodden. I was sitting there, thinking…Joe Goodden…I know that name…who the….IT’S JOE 😀
I actually did an :O expression and if I were by myself, I would have issued a little squeak. I’m sure people on the train thought I was seeing Cologne cathedral for the first time with my awestruck expression.
They had very positive opinions of it, can’t remember exactly the words they used but they considered it a “must”.
They didn’t mention the Bible website though, disappointing .

I was at a museum watching a planetarium show about coral reefs and a line in the show was “The moray eel gets a little help from its friends” and I thought @StrawberryFields91 must know about this
