Offline My heart stopped when I saw this headline: The Odd Awful Downfall of the School Librarian of the Year. This time, however, it turned out not to be @Ahhh Girl. Whew!

So, Black and White were roommates. White killed Black. Looks like Ebony And Ivory didn’t live in perfect harmony in this story.

Even stranger: Black was white and White was black. Anthony White’s body was later pulled out of the Hudson River. True to the headline–an odd, awful story.

First, do what the man (@PeterWeatherby) said – READ before you post.
If I thought someone might be “wrong” about a factual piece of information, I might say: “Have you considered…” and fill in what I think is the right answer. Take Mary Poppin’s sage advice: “a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.” I can couch the information that someone may have something wrong in positive terms. I think you’ve built up quite a bit of ill will with folks here so anything you say for a while may cause consternation. But, maybe there is Hope For The Future if you learn the ways of the force for good.
Your cavalier attitude is obnoxious. No one here expects you to be 100% right all of the time. We don’t see you as less of a person if you don’t know some little factoid. [We have @Ron Nasty for factoids. LOL!]
@Joe, @Zig, @meanmistermustard, or anyone…any more thoughts on the way people can let someone know they have a bit of information wrong so that the information is received with welcome arms instead of wanting to use those same arms to put DO in a headlock?

Offline For anyone interested, you can deliberately say a piece of false information so I can see how well I can correct you while still being nice about it. It’s odd how this is happening because in real life, I don’t take well to redirections or constructive criticism so it’s odd how often I give it out here.
