@Lucy in the Sky Hello up there!
Nothing wrong with a short intro, as long as it’s effective, and that one was.
If you're lonely (or not!), you can talk to me. .....Hey! Are you a new member on this fine forum and don't know where to go to introduce yourself?
Well, you can do it here! Dig it?

Hi. I am a brand new member, as you can see. I felt compelled to jump in after a few weeks of observation. Ahh Girl wonders how the Forum appears to “outsiders.” I can give you a little perspective. The overall impression I get is one of Peace and Love. I’m sure Ringo would be very happy about that, but i don’t picture him as much of a reader. The thing that is distinctive about this blog is the civility of the members and the intellectual quality of the posts. Even the youngest members sometimes have profound insights, and it is inspirational to see the trans-generational bond of music and human charisma.
I also have to remark on the professionalism of the moderators and the way they manage the discussions in their sites. And Joe– is he a perfect administrator or what?
I know this page is supposed to be about the new member, but the character of your site will continue to draw new members of all stripes.
I got interested in the Beatles again after a long period of limited interest, so that sets me apart from many of your perpetually obsessed members. My renewed interest was actually sparked by a dream. It was a very intense and affecting vision, and one of the remarkable things about it was its sound track. Ahh Girl might be able to guess the featured tune. I’ll provide some details about the dream in a later post–this one is already too long and winding.

You’re welcome, Joe. I especially enjoy your even-handed and prompt responses to posters who question your page descriptions and summaries. Can you really maintain a full-time job while running the site?
