Offline I hate talking about myself. So I’ll stick to Beatles related history.
1968: Saw Yellow Submarine in the theater. My babysitter took me. I was 4.
1970: Saw Help ! on TV. I was 6.
1975: Saw A Hard Day’s Night on TV. Three times in a row on the same channel. Some one fell asleep at the controls, I think.
1975: A friend turns me onto “What You Got” from Lennon’s Walls And Bridges .
1975: Mom brings home two Beatle albums for me: Meet the Beatles and Abbey Road . The bookends. My life is changed forever.
1976: I join a band playing bass and aspire to be Paul McCartney . The first song I learn is “Maybe I’m Amazed .” I bought The Beatles Complete sheet music book and teach myself to play guitar with that book.
1985: My band covers Taxman . And Rain . And She Said. And…
1989: I finally get to see Paul McCartney on his first US tour in 12 years.
2014: I walk across Abbey Road .
2014: Joined the Beatles Bible Forum
The story continues.
Favorite Beatles Album- like asking which of my three kids is my favorite. If I have to pick one, it’s Revolver .
Favorite Beatles Song – depends on the day. Right now, it’s “You Never Give Me Your Money .”
Favorite Beatle: That’s easy. Paul. The guy’s a genius. The best songwriter of the 20th century.
Favorite Beatle Movie: Help ! It’s actually in my top 5 favorite films of all time.
Favorite Beatle Solo Effort: McCartney’s Ram .

And yes, my avatar is me walking across THE zebra crossing. the photo is one a co-worker took. Me walking the wrong way… However, I walked the “right” way and took vid with my phone. It was a bit too busy to actually pose for the shot. Close enough, eh?
