I’m getting them in 9 minutes so will have to see but hopefully going to my schools sixth form.
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Had freshman orientation yesterday, as school starts in less than a week for me. Kind of excited to meet new people, kind of nervous that I’ll keep getting lost finding my classes (as it is a much bigger school than the middle school). Also a bit anxious about my locker, because of the fact that all lockers require a lock, which I never learned how to use much. Plus, my locker is very inconveniently placed on the second or third floor, where nearly all of my classes are on the downstairs level, with the exception of French, art and guitar lab. Might as well just not use my locker, as from what I’ve heard, if you go to your locker to get anything, you’ll pretty much be late for class.
Oh well, at least I got a bunch of community service hours done this month so I can graduate in 4 years

I truly have the humour of a 14 year old boy.
Ahem? *oh wait, I’m not 14 anymore…*
@natureaker, can get to your locker early? If you can, that’d help a lot.

Finished my lego Yellow Submarine !
But…where are the Fab Four?
In the submarine! Ringo’s driving. I think George has the best hair.
Here they are again on their stand during construction. All the things they hold fit into a little compartment near the tail. This was a lot of fun and it looks great.

A little while ago I got back home from an open mic night at a local rock cafe/bar called 37 Main. Two guys sang I Got You Babe by Sonny and Cher, and they also sang A Hard Day’s Night . Here’s a few pics; more of them and a video or two possibly forthcoming after I get some sleep. ^^

I had two and a half days off work but am now working them and so seven days in a row for just short of 80 hours in total. I am knackered and still have 29 hours to go.
Thankfully after Sunday, I have 6 1/2 days off in 8 and then I go on holiday for 12 days. Well, that’s the plan but will no doubt fall thru.

Congrats on the good results Quarry Man! I presume the A* was in Beatleology?
I’ve been learning Over The Hills And Far Away and Wish You Were Here on guitar today. That was fab.

It was in religious studies but I’m not sure I could A* in Beatlology when the competition is so high.

I’ve just got back from the seaside today (well, yesterday now, as it has just turned midnight here in the UK ), which was pretty fun! After we got off the train, we had to travel through a shopping mall to get to the pier. As we were walking through the mall, Day Tripper began playing on the speakers (!), but I unfortunately didn’t get to stay to listen to the whole song. One of the shops we stopped in on the way was a HMV store, where I wanted to look around at various Beatles/Bowie/Stones/Pink Floyd/Beach Boys stuff. I didn’t know any of this would be there though at first, so I didn’t have my wallet! I also got a bit offended, because I saw that Pet Sounds was the only Beach Boys album they were selling on CD (that and the 50 Big Ones compilation are the only Beach Boys CDs I have ever seen repeatedly on sale in UK shops since becoming a fan. What’s wrong with their other albums, UK? ) Anyways, we spent most of the day walking across the pier and sitting on the sand, looking at the sea. Around dinner time, we went to a restaurant. To my surprise, one of the songs they played while we were eating was Penny Lane , which was a pleasant experience. To sum things up, great day, but a lack of money, and a horrendous late night bus journey home.
