The one in the sky?!?
Well, if you could at say hi to John and George (and maybe John Bonham for me if you’ve got the time, of course!) for us when you get there that’d be great.

Don’t let the sky fairy kill you!
The altitude would kill her, she would freeze or suffocate if she got too high. Though the sky starts as soon as the ground began so they could of had the concert where they suspended the performers. She could preform while in the clutches of a crane. Would make for an interesting concert. It would be tough for the drummer though they could just play the tambourine or the triangle maybe even the cowbell since there is always need for more cowbell.

Nope, sorry, I didn’t see John, George , George, Rick, or Syd (or David Bowie or Prince or any of the other newly minted dead music people), so it must have been The Great Gig in the little backwoods church.
I’m not a very churchy person myself, but it was a charity thing for child abuse and our manager (also known as our drummer’s teacher) arranged it all, and so the world-renowned band The Off Beats (preferably The Offbeats, but I’m going by what the program says) showed up and rocked the house.
Our long and complicated setlist comprised the following numbers, in that order:
- What Is Life
- Here Comes The Sun
- Wish You Were Here
and naturally, after the fashion of The Pink Floyd Themselves, I dedicated the last one to everyone who wasn’t there, particularly Syd nope, just everyone who wasn’t there. Anyway, as I said, we rocked the house. Don’t think we played perfectly– oh no, we made loads of mistakes– but we were still awesome-and-we-know-it.
And then we had to sit through about two hours of speechifyin’ and preachifyin’ about child abuse and a few more musical selections by young parish members, and I may or may not have been silently playing guitar during this time since no one thought to tell The Offbeats to get offstage when we had finished playing before the speechifyin’ and preachifyin’ began. So we just sat there with our guitars/violin/bass in our laps and sat there and sat there and… sat there.
After the speechifyin’ and preachifyin’ was through, we went over and chatted with some mates who had turned up to witness our dazzling debut (and subsequently sit through two hours of speechanpreachifyin’), and lots of folk kept coming over to congratulate us on our performance, and– much to our credit– we said ‘thank you kindly ‘ instead of ‘yep, we’re awesome-and-we-know-it ‘.
One girl came over to me particularly and, after saying how much she appreciated our performance, added, ‘You played my favourite song.’
‘Which one?’ I asked, with a sneaking-suspection.
‘When the sun comes out,’ she nodded, with a knowful gesture. Suspection confirmed. Four weeks of bashing the poor lads’ heads over the three different tempos suddenly was all worth it.
So yep, an evening to remember.

So, today’s progress on the house from Help ! in Sims 3 so far….
Random holes appeared in Ringo’s floor along the way. Haha. They have since been repaired.
John’s bed pit thing can only be accomplished by building the whole living space on the second story and making a hole in the ceiling, and placing a loft bed underneath. Suppose I could put bathrooms down there since they don’t seem to have them in the apartment.
No idea how to implement Paul’s organ, so right now it’s just a hole in the floor.
Ringo’s gonna have the kitchen, since he’s got room – figured that’d be George’s thing, but he’s got the landscaping dude so…
Time to add more furniture!

Of course Ringo’s got he kitchen! He has the cow, as well. I think all the food was on his side, wasn’t it?
Haha, I didn’t catch the cow, That would so be me cause I drink a lot of milk. Ringo is my spirit Beatle lol. And yes, he’s got all sorts of snack machines and such in his section. =D Sadly there are no cows in the game, but I could always give him a cowprint horse out back for the giggles.

Pretty damn excited because I’m having my first piano lessons tomorrow, even though they were scheduled nearly two weeks ago (damn you, sketchy music store!) Otherwise, this week consists of PARCC (just another standardized testing), but instead of the ELA (English Language Arts) version, this time it’s the math version. The only good thing about standardized tests in my school is you get to miss the first 3 class periods you have that day, which is good when my first three classes are the classes that I hate the most. So, yea. Life has kinda been boring, but that’s not always a bad thing if you think about it

A pretty normal day in the Weeping Atlas Cedars Forest… except for the fact that I’ve been on a huge 3-day The Wall binge (I blame my Floydmare and the subsequent lyric-searching for connections )
Alas, I’ve only been able to listen to random tracks from it but a binge it is, no less. This tragedy has happened because iTunes decided not to let me be able to sync my iPod for any apparent reason, so now I can’t get/sync said album, The Dark Side of The Moon (been planning to get this one for a while) or Johnny’s Rock ‘N’ Roll .
Bleh.

@WeepingAtlasCedars Your subconscious mind knows what’s good for you.
Like all Floydsterpieces, The Wall really ought to be listened to in its entirety, so there is always YouTube… just saying

Glad to hear the gig was a success @Beatlebug. It’s interesting that your normal playlist and the band’s set list are pretty much the same . Just a coincidence I’m sure .

Oh, yes, I had nothing to do with it, nothing at all
Well, the others weren’t coming up with anything suitable; what could I do? It was an awesome setlist, perfect for the occasion.
