I was scrolling with my right index finger like you would on a touchscreen phone or tablet, but the picture/page wasn’t changing. Then I realized I didn’t have my phone in my left hand. I was just doing the scrolling motion on the palm of my left hand.

Offline I had a split dream. The first half of the dream I was back in my senior year of high school. Later on still in high school except the history teacher was my history professor from college. He is teaching us about Woodstock. We, the class, were suppose to go to Woodstock, study it (take notes), do a presentation in class so we had to do interviews, and then draw it. It was really strange. I graduated from high school 39 years after Woodstock. I don’t know how we got there either.

I had a dream where some not nice movie makers made a Hollywood movie at Mr. Kites house (Yes it became a house in my dream) and showed his face. After the movie premiered, all the Beatles Bibler’s teleported to his house and he had a permanent winky face. Then we were all at an arena having a sleeping contest that I lost.

We must have read a news post by @parlance in the news thread (and x-posted to the “Out There” tour thread) that Paul was touring on Mars.
All the posts about bad neighborhoods broght back one of my old, reoccuring nightmares. I’m in a piece-of-crap car in a dangerous part of town and I can’t find my way out of the area.

Offline I keep having these dreams about weird collaborations between artists I like. One night it was Tears for Fears with a spoken word artist. Last night it was Nick Cave and Duran Duran.
Also, in last night’s dream, I was waiting in line at a signing for Nick and Duran at Virgin Megastore in London, someone was giving out goodie bags promoting David Sylvian’s new album with buttons and t-shirts and a photo book and a new book of lyrics. I got them to give me two, and I called a friend to tell her I had one for her when I got back to the States.

Offline I had a dream where parlance and I where fighting a monster to try to bring back another user from death (Or potential death since we weren’t sure if they were really dead). She had Skyrim weapons and I had Halo weapons and we beat the monster.

Wow! In reality, I’m horrible at video games. Virtually no eye-hand coordination. My boss who taught me Halo of course beat me every time. And the only thing I know about Skyrim is the “arrow to the knee” joke.

Offline I had two epic music-related dreams last night/this morning. In the first, Tears for Fears were collaborating on a sooper sekrit album with Prince (I don’t know why I keep coming up with these pairings. In this case probably because Prince’s latest US tour was just announced). And the rollout to buy the album was ridiculously complicated. We had to show up at the location of the studio putting it out. And Prince drew wristbands for us, and those determined what time we could buy the album. I drew a very late time, so I made plans with a friend who’d drawn an early time to go to her house once she picked up the album to listen to it earlier than I would have. I guess this was the days before YouTube.
Before we left, though, I lucked out, and found two VIP passes to a celebrity listening party on the floor, and gave my friend the other, so at the end of the dream, we were making plans to go.
Also, one of my friend was on the shortlist to become TFF’s official fan club president.
The second dream was Beatley, so I posted that in the respective thread.

Offline I had many dreams during my 28 hour sleeping binge to recover from my UK trip, but this is the one I remember.
I had gotten an ultra, super, mega rare copy of The Beatles first single with the original way they recorded it. It sounded very different from the widely released version. I thought I didn’t have a record player so I asked @Joe if I could bring it to his house to listen to it. Come to find out, he had obtained a copy of the record, too. Then, I discovered that I still had the record player I had as a teenager. I couldn’t wait until I got to Joe’s so I listened to about 30 seconds of the record. John’s voice sounded very gravelly. When I got to Joe’s house we were acting like excited kids on Christmas morning and told Ellie that we were going to listen to both copies of the record. She rolled her eyes and said, “The kids and I will be back in a few hours so you two can get this spurt of Beatlemania out of your systems.” That’s all I remember about the dream.

Offline Actually, @Joe did my laundry. He put in the washing detergent and turned on the machine.
And, I can thankfully say he didn’t get sick while I was there. The Sally Lunn’s buns with butter and jam, the yummy, yummy pizza, and the tomato and cheese sandwiches all stayed down in his tummy.
