I do not Christmas tree either. For a start, I’ve nowhere to put one. I keep meaning to put up some xmassy lights though, I may look into that next week.
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Pretty much why I gave mine away. I had a nice white-branched tree (imagine a glowing white tree from The Lord of the Rings) which doubled as a lamp the rest of the year – but only had room for one of my two lamps – so it didn’t make the cut.

Tell her that the best way to see Canberra is to go out alone shopping and what better to buy at this time of year than some Christmas decorations and a tree.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…
I will be going out shopping for Zag today. When I get home, the house will smell wonderful because she will be baking Christmas cookies. Tomorrow, we are going to the 2015 PA Christmas & Gift Show. Later in the week we will bust out the decorations.
I…love…Christmas.

Getting back to the topic of the song, do you ever wish the Beatles made a real complete song out of this ie: not just the couple of lines for the fan club recording? How would it sound? If released as a single, what would be the B-side?
I didn’t feel like scrolling though all 33 pages. So if this was already asked, my apologies.
Regarding the annual fan club recordings, I always liked those. But they are more for hardcore Beatle fans. The average Joe might find them irritating. And some of the stuff (like the BBC radio parody) is too British for the rest of us to understand. But for us on this post, they make a great time capsule of the Beatles history. They start out scripted with general wishes. Then they get weirder as the Beatles themselves became more experimental and psychedelic. And the later ones show how the band was on the verge of breaking up in the way each member sent in their own separate snippets.

Isnt the Ringo song pretty much a straight cover of the Beatles track?
Not sure what you mean by “made a real complete song out of this ie: not just the couple of lines for the fan club recording” @Jolly Jimmy. The full complete track was 6 minutes long before it was weaved through the ’67 message and Apple edited it down (with a few additional Christmas messages added at the end) for the ‘FAAB’ single in 1995. That edit could easily be included on any Christmas collection however Apple don’t allow Beatles tracks to appear on compilations alongside other artists that often (it has happened a very very very few select times).

We got our Christmas tree two days ago. ‘Tis huge–I think it’s a little too bushy. Smells wonderful though.

I guess I meant make the “Christmas Time Is Here Again ” part currently in existence the chorus. John and/or Paul could have then wrote something else to comprise the verses. This might have been something regularly played during the Holidays on the radio just like Happy Xmas (War Is Over) or Wonderful Christmastime . It’s just a “What If” idea I had in my head that would make an interesting discussion.
I do know about Ringo’s version. He does his best by padding the song with an instrumental break. But ultimately, it’s just a lot of repetition.
You are all my friends.

Thanks for decorating the joint again this year, @Joe . We decorated ours today as well.
I see we are still going with the “Paul Is Dead*” theme.

No other option than death. If your tassel falls to the left, you are now dead. Does that mean if it falls to the right, do you come back to life?
