I think The Hole Got Fixed’s song would go great on side B, don’t feel bad though Holey, some of the best songs of all time are on the B-side of an album like A Day In The Life and It’s Late.
I don’t really care where it goes.
Be warned, I will be recording something myself for every track on this album, so you will hear me one way or another on every track.
Umm… Why? After all, this was @Starr Shine?’s idea. Not every Beatle appeared on every song, so why should you?
Sorry for the double post.

To answer a couple of your questions.
1. The reason I put current users on the cover is because current users are recording this album, so I think those users should be represented, both in lyrical and cover content, although if you or anybody else has a better idea for an album cover, I’d love to see it.
2. I will try, some of the contributions may be very minor, such as a brief guitar solo or a hidden message at the end of the song and if I can’t think of a way to enhance the song, I will leave it alone. Also, the only albums where every Beatle is missing from at least 1 song are Revolver , Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and The Beatles and every song on Please Please Me , A Hard Day’s Night , Beatles For Sale , Rubber Soul , and Magical Mystery Tour have all 4 Beatles on it.

That’s a good point. Anyone who contributes gets on the cover, perhaps?

That’s a fair point. Everyone should try to add something of value to a song, but if they can’t, they shouldn’t degrade the song by adding a useless track in.
A question of real value: So who would be willing to do what?
I could do any of the following: French Horn, Drums, Vocals, Flute.

Let’s stick to one simple song.
Complex 11 min guitar feats are not what the Beatles are known for.
I think as the Beatles Bible we should go for a Beatles sound, and make it simple so more people can join in.
Once we get one song, then we can tqlk about more. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch and all that.

That would be ideal. If we can find a way for as many people as possible to play, that would be really cool. How long do you think, as creator of this idea, should this run for?

But you’re not avert to the idea of an album (albeit maybe in quite a few months)?

If it fits into the song, I could play harmonies or a melody with baritone-, alto- or sopranosax.
Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

That would be cool!
If you really want me to, I could also play tenor sax but then I’d had to figure out where to get one first…

I was making an ironic statement that you have that baritone sax, alto sax and soprano sax at your disposal, but not the tenor sax!
Sorry, I should have realised after 15 years that irony and sarcasm don’t work well on the internet.
Which sax to you feel you are best at?

Sorry, the irony is really obvious in retrospect – I’m just terrible at recognising irony.
I feel comfortable with all three of them. It depends on which timbre you want to have in the song.

Are there specific Beatles songs that people feel they could contribute to a cover for? I’m up for anything and can do bass, keyboards, (some) vocals and of course ukulele and kazoo. I can contribute production and coralling a bunch of wavs in audacity and click tracks etc. There’s plenty of straightforward Beatles tunes from Rubber Soul onwards, and we can do more than one. Here’s some suggestions that don’t bank too heavily in any direction:
– Taxman
– Birthday
– With A Little Help From My Friends
You get the general idea. If people are feeling vocally brave, we could try some of the harmonising ones like If I Needed Someone or The Word ?
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

If we were to do one, let’s do sht. pepper > A Little Help From My Friends to celebrate the 50th. I can sing, play guitar, play keys, or record percussion overdubs. Whatever is necessary.

This is a good idea, just for the sake of learning how to collaborate and get a good process going. Here is a link to a Drive folder:
https://drive.google.com/drive…..sp=sharing
You should be able to access the click track and the bass track. If you prefer, I’ve included a compressed copy of the audacity project so you can play along easily, just be sure to output a good quality wav file (24bit please), you should have permission to upload to that folder. There’s a four beat count-in, then the billy shears intro and a bar before getting into it. Hope you guys can do something with it and let me know if you have issues accessing/uploading the files.

This is the link to the thread we should probably be on: https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..page-11/
What do you want me to do? I could probably do drums (though I haven’t played WALHFMF yet on drums), or I could do either lead or harmony vocals.

^ Isn’t there a beatle bible band for that purpose, already?
I think doing a genuine and original track would be better and , as starr shine? said, as Beatley as possible.
Dark Overlord, i think your track is great but it would just fit better in a kinda Tame Impala unplugged tribute album , or something like that.
I made this once and thought i could fit well in this project. I think it could sound kinda Beatleish.
The guitars are not properly tuned, it was recorded in a hurry but i think you get the idea of the track. Maybe you would like to work it out re-recording it with your acoustic anf electric guitars, adding drums and bass and/or whatever lying on your hands.
If the link doesn’t work , or is not appropiated just let me know and i’ll try to upload it in whatever upload website.

I think that we should use my track 1 as the main song, does @Starr Shine? agree. I think it’s the prefect type of music for this, it was recorded in one take, and I see lots of potential in it, here’s the instrumentation I was thinking of for this song, although it may change:
Starr Shine?: Lead Vocals
Dark Overlord: Epiphone Acoustic Guitar, Tambourine, Handclaps, Vocals (“take one”, “solo”)
ewe2: Bass Guitar
The Hole Got Fixed: French Horn, Backing Vocals
Martha: Saxophone, Backing Vocals
William Shears Campbell: Clarinet, Backing Vocals
sir walter raleigh: Piano, Backing Vocals
Unknown: Trumpet (I would love to work out a brass/woodwind arrangement, but I would want someone to play a trumpet)
Possibly: other brass instruments, orchestral strings
Anybody who wants to: Backing Vocals
Does this sound good to you guys.

Did Billy Shears ever say he was interested in the first place?
At the end of the day (and at the start as well), I don’t really care what the song is, what genre it is, who does what, etc, but I do care about if it gets done, and that I can play something for it.

Well, I’m no singer but if people want me to take lead I guess I can. (And if no 9ne else wants them)
And I agree, I most of all want to get a song out of this.
