I've said before in another thread that if I were to be stranded on a desert island with only one Bealtes album it would be the White Album – only because it has the most songs.
It, however is not my favorite.

It's my favorite, hands down.
you and your silly love songs
Some people want to fill the world with silly love songs! What's wrong with that?
My dad thought Ringo sang “Why Don't We Do It In The Road”. Yeah. Ringo.
But anyhow, I like that song a lot, I agree that it's one of Paul's best, vocally, at least.
I'm in love, but I'm lazy.

The White Album is one of the top three rock albums made by any artist, anywhere. And it's still only #3 on the Beatles' list (right behind Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road ).
I've been listening to the White Album for decades and it sounds as fresh and original now as it did at the start. It's a simply amazing work of art. Who else could pull off following up something as blistering as “Helter Skelter ” with something as breathtakingly delicate as “Long, Long, Long ?”
Simply amazing.
As session man Danny Kortchmar once said, “You still can't buy a better album.”

You could see if you could bend the rules a bit and claim all three volumes of “Beatles Anthology” as a single album.

Great thought, K. If I ever do get stranded, I'll stow away my Anthology CD's!
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

wow, who knew my topic would get to 2 pages? lol
anyways, my dad apologizes for dissing The White Album , and he admits he likes most of the songs…besides, Beatle Lovers never lie good.
One of my favorite songs on the WA is probably Mother Nature's Son, Next to that would be Piggies , and then Long Long Long.
My Top 3 Albums are White Album , Sgt. Peppers, and Revolver . Not In that order though.
Now if we had to pick our favorite song…Oh boy then we'd all be banging our heads against a wall in fustration, now wouldn't we?

Actually, that might be interesting.
Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Whatever you do, do NOT listen to Gates of Hades (The i-Doser) in the bathtub.

oh yeah that reminds me of another story…after running a Mile for gym class in school one day I went upstairs to relax and take a bubble bath listening to Helter Skelter …
I somehow fell asleep….
I woke up an hour later with “Hips don't lie” blasting in my bathroom
Sometimes I wish I had a big yellow submarine...
