Finally, After struggling with the album, and had to remix around 40% of the album again because of sound and mixing errors, here's the Sour Milk Sea Outfake, stereo remixed & remastered by myself.

Enjoy!

Sorry…Can't do it.

It's just not the White Album with only 14 tracks.

It has been already made, I'll upload it and put it over here so you and everyone can hear it; I'm actually making my version of The White Album ; I'm currently mixing I'm So Tired with Paul more audible vocals from the mono version and some (partially) unused overdubs for the same song. a-hard-days-night-john-6

Side 1

1. Dear Prudence (clean intro)

2. Ob-la-di Ob-la-da

3. Sexy Sadie

4. I'm So Tired

5. Long Long Long

6. Blackbird

7. Happiness Is A Warm Gun

Side 2

1. Don't Pass Me By

2. Cry Baby Cry /Can You Take Me Back

3. I Will

4. Why Don't we Do It In The Road

5. Yer Blues

6. Helter Skelter

7. While My Guitar Gently Weeps .

                                                 (Total Running time: 44 mins)

No idea what to do with the remaining tracks. I suppose add them in with the 4 new yellow submarine tracks and put another album together. But not Revolution 9 , it wouldnt fit.

4: Obla Di Obla Da

5: While My Guitar Gently Weeps

6: Happiness Is A Warm Gun

7: Blackbird

Side 2:

8: Rocky Raccoon

9: Don't Pass Me By

10: I Will

11: Julia

12: Helter Skelter

13: Honey Pie

14: Savoy Truffle (or Long, Long, Long )

I've been wondering about how that album as a single album for a while now. I've been playing around in iTunes trying to find a good tracklist. I will keep with the rules of the original post (14 songs…2 from George and 1 from Ringo) and this is what I came up with!

Glass Onion

Revolution 1

Obla Di Obla Da

While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Martha My Dear

Everybody's Got Something Hide Except Me and My Monkey

I Will

Helter Skelter

Happiness Is A Warm Gun

Piggies

Blackbird

Sexy Sadie

Julia

Don't Pass Me By

The 2nd side was harder than the first! I had to cut some of my favorites but I think this provides for a solid album! It flows very well. I just realized I have the 2 animal names and Sadie and Julia together! I like Ringo's song being last  cause it's kind of saying 'Hey guys I wrote a song, don't pass me by!'

Try to realize it's all within yourself, no one else can make you change....

Sorry there are more than 14 tracks here, but this would be my ideal “White Album “:

1- Back In The USSR

2- Dear Prudence

3- Glass Onion

4- While My Guitar Gently Weeps

5- Martha My Dear

6- Blackbird

7- Piggies

8- Rocky Raccoon

9- Don't Pass Me By

10- I Will

11- Julia

12- Mother Nature's Son

13- Helter Skelter

14- Long, Long, Long

15- Revolution 1

16- Honey Pie

17- Savoy Truffle

18- Good Night .

Interesting lists, people!

This took some thought, but I believe this would’ve made a respectable album.  It almost makes you wonder how many other songs may have been cut from previous albums.  This mix of songs balances the John and Paul songs 6 and 6 with the two George songs, and with one of John’s songs going to Ringo. (I thing Ringo would’ve given the Bungalow Bill song a Yellow Submarinesque spin which might have worked well)

Side A

1) Revolution (the rockin’ version)
2) The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill (sung by Ringo)
3) Birthday
4) I Will
5) Glass Onion
6) I’m So Tired
7) While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Side B

1) Back In The USSR
2) Dear Prudence
3) Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
4) Blackbird
5) Helter Skelter
6) Long, Long, Long
7) Happiness Is A Warm Gun

That’s my White Album but i don’t know a running order
Back In The USSR
Piggies
Cry Baby Cry
Honey Pie
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Happiness Is A Warm Gun
Martha My Dear
Blackbird
Rocky Raccoon
Mother Nature’s Son
Helter Skelter
Sexy Sadie
Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey
Savoy Truffle

I didn’t take Revolution because a better version was released as a single. I think my 14 songs White Album doesn’t miss many songs but of course I want to have every beatles songs so it wasn’t a bad idea to release it as a double-album

You could put a gun to my head or a knife to my throat, and I’d still refuse to cut a single track from this album.  The only alteration I’d make is incorporating both “Not Guilty ” and “What’s The New Mary Jane ” into the running order.  a-hard-days-night-paul-11

I mentioned in the “Overrated/Underrated” thread that this album could have been stellar instead of great had it been just a single album. The only problem I ever find with my stance on that is, I have a hard time excluding songs. The only ones I could absolutely do without are “Revolutiion 9” (not a song anyway, but rather an experimental piece) and “Good Night “.

The list that sinco put together above (Welcome, BTW!) is terrific IMHO but there are so may other great songs on the album.

Besides, knowing me, I would have gone out and tried to obtain those tracks anyway by some other means (bootlegs, etc…) just because they were recorded by The Beatles!

a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

That’s how I feel today, anyway. Check back in about a week.

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

hmm. this is very difficult since i like all of the White Album (even Revolution 9 … if you listen to the album without pause, it really fits with the flow of the album).

I agree with that, except I would say I actually LOVE all of the White Album , instead of ‘like’…

Welcome, Mr. Mustard! You might want to think up a new name for yourself – there’s already a meanmistermustard here (not to mention a Mrs.) and he’s got seniority.

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
