OMG I LOVE MEETING OTHER SCOTTISH PEOPLE!!!! I remember when I went to see the bootleg Beatles at the Royal concert hall, and it showed a little thing at the start that showed all the important events from the 60s, and when it showed England winning the World Cup, the whole frikking place booed. It was brilliant. I’m a pretty young Beatles fan, just turning 13. I’m also bisexual. But anyway, I’m getting off-topic (sorry).

Yes, Bongo, our new member is just now turning 13.
When I was 13 I didn’t give any thought to “what”-sexual I was. I was too busy with school, university, and career. I finally began thinking of “what”-sexual I was when I was 27. I came out definitely hetero.

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!OMG, is that you in the Avatar??? You look sooooooo young, I am jealous!
That in the avatar was me a year ago. It was when I had first got my ear pierced and, if you look closely, you can see it has got all swollen cause the guy had f****d up. I’ll probably change it in a few days, I don’t really like the photo. But a question: am I the youngest member, or is there younger ones? Usually when I join a community( I’m only in a few communities) I end up being the youngest. So just wondering

Yeah, same here.
Still not terribly bothered about any of it. I have good friends, that’s all I need.
Um… wow we got off topic
Yeah, my favourite Beatles album right now is… um… Abbey Road , I think. Though as usual I love em all.

There are quite a few current members who joined at age 13 or younger.
*wave, everyone*
Beatles fans of all ages are welcome here.

You are not alone. There are several BFS-ophiles among us. While it’s not my “go-to” album, I thoroughly enjoy it when I play it. Nice choice.

In my opinion, Beatles For Sale is one of my least favourite Beatles albums. The only outstanding tracks in my opinion are Eight Days A Week and rock n roll music. I prefer their music from very early (1957-1963) and later ones(1966-1970). The only really good Beatles albums in my opinion from 1965 and 1964 were A Hard Day’s Night and Rubber Soul , which was late 1965 and so it was when they were experimenting more. I like the very early stuff because they were very rock n roll, and the later stuff because they were more experimental and phsychidelic( I think I might have spelt that wrong). While I still love all of their music, Help ! and Beatles For Sale , are a little plainer and more boring in my opinion.

There’s someone who used to have the username beach boys maniac who joined at age eleven. They’ve changed their username a couple times. I think their username is “[something or other] Bootlegs” these days.

At the moment, I’d say my favourite Beatles album is Magical Mystery Tour (but it’s liable to change by tomorrow)
Regardless of whether you think it’s canon, it’s still great.

My “favorite” Beatles album goes through a 4-album rotation of Abbey Road , the White Album (my current favorite), Rubber Soul , and Revolver . But before the UK albums were available on CD in the US, Yesterday and Today was in the mix, as well as Meet the Beatles…but Rubber Soul and Revolver were not. As much as Capitol Records mucked up those early releases, I still think that Meet the Beatles is a better album than any of the pre-Rubber Soul UK albums, with the possible exception of A Hard Days Night.
That’s my story, and I’m sticking with it!
