If you listen to the US albums straight through, and then go on to hear Magical Mystery Tour , Sgt. Pepper , Yellow Submarine soundtrack, White Album , Abbey Road and Let it Be, what songs are you missing?
“You know My Name (Look Up the Number)”, and what else?

Across The Universe wildlife mix would be another as is Misery (strangely omitted from The Early Beatles).
Thank You Girl is on The Beatles Second Album.
Is Sie Liebt Dich not also missing? It was initially released by Swan. Admittedly not that big a miss but still part of their catalogue.

You are correct. Add those songs to the mix. Also ‘There’s A Place ‘ as well.

You could have an imaginary stereo followup to “Hey Jude ” with the following 10 tracks…maybe called “The Inner Light ” ….
Get Back (Single Version)
Across The Universe (Wildlife Version)
Let It Be (Single Version)
You Know My Name

So, revised “The Inner Light ” tracklisting:
Love Me Do (Ringo Version)
Get Back (Single Version)
Across The Universe (Wildlife Version)
Let It Be (Single Version)
You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)

That looks correct. If you purchased ‘Past Masters ‘, you would still be missing ‘Misery ‘ and ‘There’s A Place ‘ You will need either ‘Introducing The Beatles’ on VeeJay Records or ‘Rarities’ the US version to get those two songs. You could also purchase ‘Please Please Me ‘ UK album as well.

Can’t think of anything else except the Inner Groove was removed from the US Pepper so would make for a cool hidden bonus at the end.
Nice little album, a run time of around 31 minutes, and the 11 track listing lines up nicely with a few of the original American Lps (Something New, Revolver , Second Album). I’m Down ends side 1, start side 2 with The Inner Light – or would get Back Back be the better opener. I quite like giving George’s sole track the prominent slot. No Ringo but not uncommon in this context.
Who needs Apple, Universal, Capitol etc? In the space of a few hours folk here at BB have made a unique Beatles album fit for the US box.

I’d like to see “Christmas Time (Is Here Again)” added to this imaginary album, whatever we call it.
Christmas Time (Is Here Again) wasn’t out until ’95 and if we go past 1970 do we have to include the appalling and utterly pointless Movie Medley as that isn’t on any album (thankfully)? No Beatles album should ever suffer from having that on it.
As for the name of the LP probably either one of the song titles on the album or something from one of the lyrics but i’m open to nearly anything.

Lucky fan-club members heard it in ’67! (well not the full-length version, but still.)

You might as well just add that to the 1970 christmas album that was released to all fan club members in the US and included all the messages, one or two they hadn’t heard before.
