Didnt know this existed.
1. Buddy Holly (a legend)
2. J.F.K.
3. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
And the lady who invented the sewing machine.
As for the various objects: Doctor Who's T.A.R.D.I.S., Hobbes (from Calvin and Hobbes) and yes Snoopy, no, the whole Peanuts gang.
Edit: I forgot Columbo, the greatest tv detective.

I got that completely wrong. Ive always read the end of the Help ! movie as “dedicated to the memory of Mrs Elias Howe” but it definately says Mr. Oops.
Im sure his wife was involved somewhere with moral support and help in bringing about its design and completion. Behind every great man is a great woman.

Cant remember if i posted a list in here.
Mine would include Mal Evans, Animal (from the Muppets), Sherlock Holmes, Freddie Mercury, Kenneth Williams, Johnny Cash, Doctor Who (as played by Christopher Eccleston), Snoopy, Buddy Holly, Kendall Payne (one of my fave singers but not that well known). I think i’d take Elvis as well. There will be others, people who have made a real difference and i admire a lot but at the moment i cant think who.
I really want a politician from my generation, someone from the UK who made a stand for what he believed in and didnt just talk drivel and make empty promises to stay in power and look good, but thinking hard i cant think of one. Thats depressing.

In an earlier post I had mentioned…
Barack Obama (not a big fan but he did make history), Pablo Picasso (see Band On The Run ) and Martin Luther King.
I will add Roberto Clemente and Mark Lewisohn…provided he gets that damned book out sometime this year.

I’ll take Martin Luther King for my list. Very stupid omission. I wish i could think of other significant figures in history as i know there are plenty i would have on the cover. Grrrrr!!!!
Well, there’s Oprah, and Genghis Khan has 0.5 percent of the worlds male population as descendants. That’s pretty intense, though I don’t understand why that only includes men, was he a double y or something?

Not a fan of Oprah. I havent seen much of it but it appears to have a lot of emotional mush and stroke celeb egos. Wasnt it Oprah when Ton Cruise acted a complete pillock – for that alone it deserves a demotion?
Oh The A-Team – how could i forget them? George Peppard was an absolute legend and its still amazing to see him on screen.

Like her or not, you can’t deny the power she has over the whole world. Practically the most historically significant person of the twenty-first century. Basically, she picked the president of The United States, and she brought education to Africa. And yeah, that was on Oprah that Tom Cruise did that.
